I was really looking forward to trying your restaurant for the first time with my family this evening. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. When we informed the staff of our group size, we were flatly told, "We can't accommodate you," without any effort to offer a solution. As my husband began to suggest that we could be split up if that helped, the staff member simply walked away.

Read moreSusquehanna Smokehouse is a nice little place. It has a relatively small menu right now but it is expanding. Full bar with bottles and cans of beer (no draft). The food is good, definitely good cuts of meat and quality ingredients. However, it is a "smokehouse"/bbq joint and they apparently have only one kind of BBQ sauce. I am not sure of it is a sauce they make in-house but it's not overwhelming.
The atmosphere is nice but not very cozy. It could use a few booths or some other kind of privacy screens. Wait staff was very friendly. Bathroom reminds me of a truck stop. Nice overall, just needs some minor touch-ups...
Read moreAfter driving for hours from a big southern city, we were looking for a local spot to get some lunch. Susquehanna Smokehouse popped up not far off our route so we decided to stop in. We definitely didn’t regret it! The atmosphere was very relaxed and homey. My husband had the brisket sandwich and I got the fried haddock sandwich. Both was better than anything we can get at home.
