DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY!!!!!
My friend is a long time customer of this place and has a severe shrimp allergy. She placed her normal order and specified no shrimp, gets her food and leaves. On her way home she bites into her egg roll, it’s supposed to be a beef egg roll. It was a SHRIMP egg roll. She rushes to the nearest store to get allergy medication because she did not have an epi- pen on her. After her reaction calms down, she goes back to the restaurant to get her money back, because they didn’t make her order right. The owner refused to give her money back and snatched her order out of her hand. He insisted on remaking it for her. He also wouldn’t give her the original food back. She didn’t want her food remade. She left with nothing. As a restaurant owner you should know that shrimp is one of the 8 most common and deadly food allergies.
Not only was the owner rude and disrespectful he was negligent and he stole from her. The owner never compensated her with her money back after making his mistake, he never remade her food and he never gave her the original order back.
To the owner: You do not need to own a business if you can not own up to your mistakes and correct them accordingly. Mistakes happen, that one regarding someone’s health shouldn’t have, however, what really shouldn’t have happened is the way you immaturely addressed the situation. You should understand why someone would not trust you to remake their food after you made a very careless mistake in the first place but also how you handled the mistake. You were rude and disrespectful, why would she trust you to make it right and care for her health now? The receipt even said no shrimp. It was documented!!!
To the owner: You also need to make sure that while you’re still in business which hopefully isn’t for very long with your horrible business practices that you have someone double check, or even triple check when it comes to the 8 most common food allergies that your paying customers food is correct. We have been eating here for a long time and for the last few times we’ve been coming here which we stay at least an hour away from this place so whenever we come to Columbia, we try to get 😋China Ace, but the last few times that we have come here The food has been off. It’s been something wrong with it. The noodles been off is something off with everything that we’ve been eating so I called to complain today or September 26, 2024 and tell somebody that the food is not tasting the same as something is wrong. They told me that is nothing they can do about it. That’s the way they cook it and it was not willing to replace my food with something else or re fix my food better. so because of that I will not be eating here again me and my family out of all the years that we have been coming here we decided that we will not be coming back to this place because there is poor customer service and apparently is not ran by the same people that has been running it the years that we have been coming so I rate this place at one star and I rate customer service at one star because I feel like they should’ve honored you. Read moreI hate giving places bad reviews...but I really didn't have good experiences here. I went here twice and ordered different dishes both times.
Food: 4/10....definitely below average and over priced. The only good thing was the portions were decent.
Service: 0/10....extremely slow both times. almost 30 minutes for one dish last time. They don't allow refunds or exchanges once you get food and make you demand one in order to actually get one pretty awkward and a bad sign in general.
Atmosphere: 1/10...doesn't seem that clean to me, and they had female UFC on TV so kids were watching women beat each other not exactly family friendly.
I also don't like how they pinch every penny, not only is the food overpriced and below average taste wise but they post signs all over the place charging you for refills and extra sauces...they don't even let you take extra silverware with your take out. I asked for a refund last time I went after waiting over 20 minutes for fried rice and I was told the food would be out in a few SECONDS...well it was lamost 30 minutes when I finally asked for a refund again and the man at the counter gave me my food. They also don't allow you to get refunds or substitutes once you get your food...that's a sign of a crappy restaurant.
