Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in West Columbia

I asked for my bottom bread to be scooped out like I do at any other Jersey Mike’s, with my sub to be cut in 1/2. Did I get that done nope sure didn’t. The guy on the grill isn’t cleaning it off as he should. How do I know because my chicken looked like steak and tasted horrible because of this. The trash can enjoyed it because after 2 bites I wasn’t gonna force myself to eat this and be sick. I gave two stars because the cashier and the topper were both very friendly and had great customer Service. Anastasia smiled and I heard her often while I was waiting tell people to “have a great day!” Or “enjoy your lunch” she was awesome. Other than that I wouldn’t return here because people probably have belly aches and not realize why and it’s because the grill guy doesn’t clean his grill between cooking steak or chicken. I was just a witness to a situation that took place at this location on 10/10/23 where employees Amber and Chloe unprofessionally handled a customer who also just so happened to be blind. After the customer complained of her sandwich being on the wrong bread, one of the two employees stated, “her sandwich is just on the wrong bread, she will live”. The entire restaurant was shocked by this comment made by the employee. After the customer asked numerous times for a manager she was continuously ignored and treated as if she did something wrong. After leaving, thankfully another witness went outside to speak with the woman and suggested that she asked for the employee's names.

This was very unprofessional and should this woman had allergies to the bread she received it would’ve been a bigger issue. There was no apology just...

I stopped in this particular Jersey Mike's every Sunday and get two giant subs and a large sweet tea. It usually comes out to be around $35 and I usually give them $40 and tell them to keep the change as a tip . I have never once been asked to wear a mask. Some little girl with rainbow hair decided that I could not place a to-go order without wearing a mask yet there was two groups of customers dining inside without masks on. One was a man sitting by himself and the other was a man with a couple of kids. None of them had masks on. I politely left and called and asked to speak to the manager who conveniently was not there. So in conclusion, I vote with my dollar, so I will not be a patron at this Jersey...
