We only stopped here because it was the only place in town open with dine in air conditioning seating. After passing out due to heat and needing food, we were left with this place. As you walk in, you don't smell any food cooking like you would any other restaurant. It smelled like bug spray and chemicals. The walls were extremely dirty and the only lady working the front seemed irritated as we walked in. She never greeted with a smile and just asked "what do you want?"
My husband ordered the fajita mexicanos, comes with beef, chicken and shrimp with 4 tortillas. There was no chicken, only 3 tiny shrimp and the beef was chorizo which my husband can't eat. All off the protein, fit on one tortilla. I got the beef taco salad. At first it looked amazing. Then after mixing everything within itself, we noticed the taco bowl shell, was half full.of nothing but grease. The beef (hamburger) looked as if it hadn't been drained and barely fully cooked through. No flavor what so ever. The taco bowl shell, was cold and stale as well.
We spent almost $50 for just the 2 of us which for the quality and service, wasn't worth the money. Way to overpriced and the food and service was...
Read moreI don’t know how else I could have explained THEIR menu to the lady to get the correct #69 Veggie Burrito order placed. She went on to ask if I was ordering a chili relleno and I reiterated rhe #69 Veggie Burrito. She hunted all through the options on the register and asked again about the chili relleno. I repeated that I did not want the chili relleno, but I want the #69 Veggie Burrito and showed her the menu. She then said okay, signaling to me that she got it finally. Well, as you can see from my photo that she did not understand and it was soggy and mushy when I got home. Total waste of money. This type of service by an owner who should know their menu, is absolutely infuriating. The restaurant really needs some deep cleaning and they need to understand what they are offering. Will not be back. Save your money and drive 10 more minutes down the highway to a place that actually listens to what you...
Read moreI do not recommend this place AT ALL. The lady working was rude and grunted in response to questions or thank yous. Asked for something on the side (the pico) and she scolded me, telling me it already came on the side. Got the food and it was right in the middle of my beans. The fajitas taste like Chinese food--heavy heavy soy sauce flavor and were dry like jerky (mixed chicken and steak, both bad). They were not busy, there was only one other table. The chips and salsa taste good, but twice we asked for more chips and salsa and was ignored both times. The menus are old and sticky and falling apart. Be careful ordering, also, because items are in different places with different prices )(i.e. fajita nachos vs fiesta nachos: same picture, same description, 2 different prices). The building is falling apart and we had to hunt to find a clean table....
