Sugar Shack — Restaurant in West Fork

Absolutely adorable little stand on the corner with fantastic food and a great atmosphere. Its a walkup burger spot with all the trimmings that youd expect to find from a good local spot. I love spending my money in the mountains for reasons like this place. Good lord almighty its a tasty burger! The fresh hot fries are lightly salted and peppered compliment the bacon cheeseburger is every possible way. The burger comes with diced purple onions, pickles, lettuce, tomato on a soft bun hugging the tastiest burger youll have in NWA. I splurged and got the Funnel Fries and if you love fair food.....get one for someone else because nobody is sharing these! So good!

Stopped in on the way North based on the rating. Young girl behind the counter greeted us very friendly and took our order. The trash next to the bench where we sat wasn’t pleasant but the rest of the benches were soaked from the rain that had just moved through. She brought out our food. We both had ordered cheeseburgers, mine with tator tots and his with onion rings. Large portions of tots and rings!! Burgers were good. Found a hair in mine towards the end. Husband said onion rings were good. As far as food trucks go in a small town, it was ok. It did puzzle us that the rating was so high. The decor seemed run down as one of the picnic benches...

Came through on a bicycle trip from Dallas, TX to Des Moines, IA on Memorial Day. I love unique small town places and this certainly fit that description! They must've had an extremely busy weekend because they were out of a large portion of the menu. No bacon, fries, or ice cream along with many other things.
