Food quality / price (value) rating 8.5. The atmosphere is "Paul Bunyan", a Western saloon with a pack of One-Armed-Bandits to complete the vision. The menu is exactly what you'd expect, including burgers, wraps, steak, salads, nachos.. There's something for everyone. They have about ten beers on tap, including some local brews you can't get elsewhere. I had the Buffalo Wings, and a couple of IPA's, and the wife had the "Apple Salad", a combination of Spring mixed greens, chicken, apple, avocado and fresh feta cheese, and choice of dressing, and a couple Pinot Grigios. We were both very happy with our food and drinks. The service was great - supplied by my new favorite waitress, Mariah, who was personable and engaging. The prices were very reasonable , and the place is kid friendly. They're open all year round, seven days a week from early Spring to late October, and five days a week during the Winter. They serve lunch and dinner only. There is live entertainment sprinkled about the calendar, so call if you are interested in a show. The owners of this business have owned several restaurants, and have made this place a cross of Western history and imaginative story telling. There aren't too many restaurant / bars in this immediate area, making this one is a good choice.

Absolutely disgusting food that was completely burnt. Do not recommend. Here is what I sent to the owner who completely ignored me. “ We are currently sitting at your restaurant and gagging. We are easy to please, fun loving people. But, today when we came in, the shorter stocky lady was absolutely rude to start. The sign outside says “wait here”. So we did, along with three other parties. Took us 10+ min to get her attention with NOBODY inside eating. After ordering, we watched THREE other tables get food after they ordered 5-15 min AFTER us. It makes no sense. Then, after we said something, she was absolutely rude and said “that didn’t happen”. Uh? Yes it did. It sure did. We waited over an hour for our food, when others waited for the same things only about 10-15 min. 20 max. After that, our food was BURNT. And so overly salty we couldn’t eat it. What in the world? We live here all summer and wanted to try it so bad. I’m in tears, that was disgusting. After I will say, the cook is alone. Which is ok, but maybe a little re train and encouragement. She looks so sad and miserable. The server just needs to chill. The wings were good tho.

Paul Bunyan Bar and Grill is a must-visit if you’re in the area! From the moment we walked in, we were taken in by the unique Western saloon vibe and rugged decor — it really sets the tone for a fun and relaxed dining experience. The menu has something for everyone — burgers, wraps, steaks, sandwiches, salads, onion rings, and more. We especially loved the pretzels with beer cheese & sweet potato fries— absolutely delicious! Their burgers were juicy, fresh, and cooked to perfection. We sat across from the open kitchen and got to see the cooks in action — it’s clear they work hard and take pride in what they do. Our server was fantastic — friendly, engaging, and even gave us great tips for Glacier National Park. The service overall was top-notch. Prices were very reasonable. There aren’t many restaurant bars nearby, which makes this spot a great choice. Highly recommend if you’re passing through or exploring the area!

Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. This is the first and last time we will ever come to this establishment. Started off right away with walking in the door and the hostess/manager telling me and my partner to sit at the bar while giving the people in line BEHIND US a table. While waiting to place our order, all of the workers were literally running around the restaurant because they were so horribly understaffed. After we were finally able to order our food, we started noticing patrons that were at the restaurant after us were getting their food. We were finally able to get ANOTHER waitress’s attention to check on our food and come to find out that the original order we placed was never submitted. Instead of a “sorry that happened”, it was “there’s nothing I can do about it. I can resubmit it and place your order above everyone else’s or you can go somewhere else.” We had already been waiting an HOUR AND A HALF by this point! By 1 hr 45 min, we had finally received our food by the waitress who actually took and forgot to submit our order. No apology or anything for her mistake that delayed our food. The best part - when finished with our meal, the original waitress brought us our bill, again with no apology and for the FULL PRICE of the entirety of the meal. Absolutely unacceptable dining experience. Having worked in the restaurant industry, I have a lot of patience for an understaffed restaurant but this experience was a...
