The Good .. the food is excellent. Service is so good it can be annoying with constant visits either asking how everything is or pushing drinks. Restaurant very clean. The Bad...service so good it is annoying. It is what I rate as expensive dining, meals can range to $70 for steaks. Special veal dish was $33 last night. So, its exp but quality. We had our meal and ordered a pizza to go, we freeze it. Menu price was $15, not bad for a Sicilian, which is very good. After turning down dessert twice we asked for bill. Pizza was listed at $17, not $15 and I noticed my vodka n cranberry was upgeaded to Kettel One. I never ask for upgraded vodka and whiskey when mixing. I pointed it out to the waitress and she came back moments later with the bill reduced by $2 for the pizza 'error'. She said it was covid related due to them printing throw away menus but they were out of throw aways so I got the old menu, old pre covid price! No change for the unasked for vodka upgrade and I didnt feel like arguing. My bottom line .. food is excellent, service which inc recommendations (always highest price) can get annoying. Very clean and comfortable. So, we will prob go back but I dont like bait n switch and unasked upgraded liquor. So, if u go u will enjoy the food, but watch your...
Read moreThis is a pizza shop that literally grew out of a glorified shed! It was so small that I'm sure they must have worried when strong winds were blowing!! I say all of that not to be a jerk, but to honor their rough beginnings. It is very obvious that they persevered and were rewarded for their struggles. The restaurant is great inside, ample room for seating and a pleasant "local" type atmosphere. When you walk in, you are greeted by the many types of pizza, stromboli, subs, all on display so you're drooling before you even are seated! It's a visual menu! By the time you are seated and handed a menu, you are so totally confused as what to order for fear of missing out on something else that looks and smells as delicious as your final choice! Wonderful atmosphere, that only comes from the type of people you are served by. All of the staff is welcoming, helpful and warm! We all have our favorites though (John) but you'll be happy with whom ever waits on you. Ask for a box because the portions are very generous. Simply put, it's worth the 15-20 minute drive from Hershey (Rt 39 to Manor Dr to RT 22. You cannot go wrong, great food, great atmosphere, great staff....I mean, what else could you want for? A...
Read moreFirst and foremost, the practice of charging customers extra for using a credit card customer-unfriendly. In this day and age, most establishments accept credit cards as a standard form of payment without any additional fees. It felt like a cheap shot to the customer's convenience and a clear money-grabbing tactic on the part of the restaurant.
Moreover, the overall dining experience was marred by this unwelcome surprise at the end of the meal. Instead of leaving with a satisfied stomach and a smile on my face, I left feeling taken advantage of and dissatisfied with the entire experience. The food itself, which could have potentially redeemed the situation, was overshadowed by the negative experience of being charged extra for using a widely accepted form of payment.
I urge you to reconsider its policy on credit card fees if it wishes to retain customers and foster positive relationships. In a competitive dining landscape, such practices are simply not acceptable and reflect poorly on the establishment as a whole.
I cannot recommend this restaurant to others until they address this issue and prioritize customer satisfaction over profit margins. I...
