Openly racist staff and owner Since they reopened with new owner I’ve went twice. First time I placed my order over the phone for pick up. Got there and there was no order. I was patient seeing that it was their first week or so. I reordered and waited 20 minutes for a made the day before salad and frozen out the bag chicken in a sloppy careless quesadilla. Just bad poorly made food. Which was reason enough to not return. But I gave it another try hoping they’d do better after being open a month or so. Nope. And that was the last $40 I’ll spend there. I’ll wait on next owners before i try food again. I lead review by saying openly racist based on my husband and sons experience. Owner is hanging around outside speaking to another gentleman looking a bit distressed saying business wasn’t what he had expected as my son and husband were crossing street from their afternoon run on beach and the owner gestured over to them as if their presence in neighborhood is the reason his place is slow. My husband has owned a home in west shore for almost 20 years. This is our community. How absolutely rude and overtly racist. Today I pulled up to get a coffee because they can’t mess that up, right? 2 employees outside smoking while customers are seated outside eating. Gross. I guess my music in car which wasn’t that loud (rap) was disturbing their cigarette break because they just openly stood there starring through my windshield making seemingly displeased remarks and gestures about me. Given owners behavior I wasn’t surprised. Just disappointed. I had to tell those 2 employees that’s not how you treat people in their own neighborhood. Do better! How unfriendly! Went to Dunkin’ Donuts instead. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for almost 20 years and I will not support this place. Overt racism Poor...

This is in response to Heather Burkes review since my daughter, her friend, my friend, and I were the people she was talking about. It was our first trip there and was so beautiful sitting out there having breakfast. The cook came out and my friend asked her if it was ok to smoke anywhere, and she said sure follow me and they walked over to the drive way. That's when a car sped around the corner, pulled up next to us with her radio blasting, and sat there for about 5 to 10 min, Never getting out of the car. Then pulled up to where my friend and the worker were smoking, with her radio still blasting. According to my friend the lady in the car started yelling at the cook for no reason. I really don't understand where the "racist" came in. Maybe the lady was having a bad day. But according to my friend, the cook was by no way deserving of the backlash she received. 1st time visiting, I order a tuna salad on a roll I get home take a bite into it the bottom of the roll is rock hard. So I get in my car drive back explain my issue and they make me a 2nd tuna salad on a roll but this time I make sure to check the rolls hardness before leaving once again the roll is hard on the bottom. So the man making the sandwiches states this is the only rolls we have but then the cashier goes and grab a bag of rolls and states these are from “today” makes a 3rd sandwich and the roll was soft as it should be. In most reputable places a refund would of been offered at this point. I will never return unfortunately and,don’t like to write a negative review unless it’s really needed but I get one roll be hard but trying to send me out the door a 2nd time is plain and simple poor...
