The whole boardwalk is gorgeous all the time, but Bradley Point Beach/Park is beautiful. Well kept and quiet, it's usually full of people playing Pokémon Go, clamming at low tide, taking in the veterans' memorials, or enjoying the beautiful shoreside scenery on the benches and rocks. The paved trail makes for a nice walkway and it has easy access to a couple little beaches in case you want to go right up...

Read moreIt's excellent for walking/running/biking etc. But, turn the other way if you want to do a "real" beach day (swimming, tanning etc). Smells like sewage sometimes. Shells and rocks everywhere, literally roughest shores in all of CT and I have seen hypodermic needles washed up on the shore....
