Sunrise Grill — Restaurant in West Haven

I walked in for my first time, making sure to be extra respectful cuz I like to have good relationships wit people that make my food. And the lady was very rude.... no manners and didn’t seem to care if I was a customer or not.

Then wen the older Caucasian couple came up to pay for then I heard all types of “sweethearts, babe, thanks, please” .... she seemed to b Frm the 60’s or 70’s and clearly still has something against people of color.......

Worst experience. Went in every table dirty, people waiting to order. She says you will have to give me a few minutes because people are waiting to order. We wait 5 minutes… I decide to clear a table for her to help her. She yells at me … then opposed to coming over to do it she goes and cleans another table. I left…. No food, no service… saw guy in the back smelling the sauce on his hand before he...

My son and I used to go for breakfast all the time. I walked out before ordering. I was sitting there waiting for service. The waitress acted as if I wasn't there. Asked a customer who just walked in, if they would like a coffee (seemed like a regular customer). I said "I would like one also". She continued to take his order. So I walked out. I expect service.
