Painter Park — Attraction in West Haven

Big play ground area for kids. There is also a smaller park in the back for smaller kids to play next to the tennis courts. They allow you to have birthday parties there which we have had at The Pavilions which is really nice in the summertime. If you like outside grills bring your charcoal because they also have grills. There's a variety of a sport areas such as tennis courts, a soccer field area, and a basketball court. New favorite spot to take our toddler. It gives me a bit of nostalgia because it reminds me of Sugarsand Park in South Florida, which was a spot I frequented for over 20 years. The fall foliage makes this park extra pretty. Age range here seems to be fairly wide, our 3.5 year old played with kids younger than him and seemingly well into middle school. Love painter Park, I used to bring my son and my daughter know I’m bringing my grandchildren to this park. Safe and great for families with little kids.
