I am an Extreme Regular of Starbucks, i visit 2 - 3 times a day, in the 10 years as a customer, i have never had to write a review, i constantly give 5 stars because i have always been treated with respect, i went to the Starbucks In West Jordan Utah @ 10:31pm on Saturday the 24th of September, their website says they close at 11:00pm i have been there in the recent past at 10:45pm, after waiting at the drive thru for 2 minutes a young girl said to me over the intercom she was sorry but they were closed, i said to her that your website says they were open, she said to me in a more aggressive tone. no thatās wrong they are closed, i asked there is no way you can make 1 drink she said in a aggressive voice NO!!!, i told her that i am a very frequent customer, she said again NO!!!, i said ok, i left, i then looked up a receipt from the week prior and found that i had been there at 10:45pm , i called the store back and the same girl i had just talked to at the drive up, answered, before i even could say anything she screamed into the phone WE ARE CLOSED!!!!! i said back to her that i was the one that came through the drive-through, and I told her that I had looked up my receipt from the week prior and they were open at 10:45 prior pump she said to me I donāt know what you were not grasping here but we are closed!!!, I said to her you realize youāre being very rude? Iām asking a couple questions and youāre being very Rude, she said to me they closed at 10:30 she was trying to get all of her work done and get out of there so she didnāt have time to talk to me on the phone , she said i didnāt even have to answer the phone, I asked for her name she would not give it to me again, I asked for her name she would not give it to me, I said to her again, you realize youāre being rude?, she said we are closed I donāt know what youāre not grasping and then she hung up on me!!! , i am a very relaxed person, i donāt raise my voice, and i didnāt raise my voice to her at all to warrant her being so Rude, all i was trying to do was get some information so i donāt go to there store in the future if they are closed, well there is no chance of that happening again as i will never go back to that...

Josie was rude, unprofessional and had a complete and utter meltdown at even the mention of making an excruciatingly simple drink - the oh so simple undertow - her complaint and no, Iām not kidding - āIāve never been trained and we just donāt have the toolsā ā¦. š¤ā¦. news to the ātrained baristaā - you have espresso, cream (breve), flavoring of choice, foam spoon; now for ringing it in the POS - you again have the base drink - espresso, w/cream, flavoring of choice, add modifications - affogato or upside down then typing āundertowā for the bar - indicating undertow, if necessary and not already blatantly obvious the drink it made UPSIDE-DOWN. I meanā¦really? You donāt have the training or the tools? There are far more complicated drinks made behind that bar on the daily! In my day, we made the Unicorn š¦ Frappuccino which - I swear -was a 17 step drink and we didnāt complain once, ESPECIALLY in front of customers! We blended and sprinkled and dusted those purple sparkled drinks until the unicorns came home all with a smile on our face as that is the Sbux way! Iām thinking you donāt belong behind the bar friend. On the other hand, Tony, you stepped in and put your āshiftā to shame. You entered with class and made the drink like a pro and did so with style, poise and professionalism in the Starbucks style befitting a true barista, nay a shift sup. The DM of this store needs to take a closer look at who they are promoting. Tony should be the shift, Josie needs more training, if a continuing as barista at all. š¤·āāļø Barista may not be your calling to be honest⦠you brought no joy to this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis morning I received the worst service Iāve ever had at this Starbucks. I had to be somewhere early in the morning and had limited time. This location was one of very few places open early enough for me to get a grab and go breakfast. I placed my order on the app so that I could just run in and grab my food and run out. When I got there, after more than enough time for them to make one grilled cheese, they did not have my order ready. I figured it was in the oven and would be out shortly so I decided to stand at the pickup counter and wait like I usually do. I stood there for 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. Then another lady walked in and they acknowledged her and then finally acknowledged me. When I politely said who I was picking up for and that I was in a rush the barista then started to mouth off to me and be very rude. She then proceeded to make 3 more drinks and someone elseās food before even looking at my order. She finally made my grilled cheese after 15 minutes. This Starbucks location has been one of my favorites because they are always very fast, friendly, and helpful. I am very disappointed that the baristaās actions this morning were not up to this basic...
