Freezer Fresh Dairy — Restaurant in West Liberty

I’m a local and I’ve eaten here three times. Every time we have gotten food from Freezer fresh the fries are soggy with grease and cold. Usually all the foods cold because they’re busy and they don’t get the food to the cars fast enough. The most recent experience I’ve had was I ordered my food and waited almost 45 minutes for them to bring it to me…. Well they forgot about me so I had to wait in line again ask about my food. The Freezer Fresh is one of the oldest establishments in West Liberty, Ky. Opening in the 1950's. On 03/02/12 it was destroyed in a tornado as well as most all downtown West Liberty. Sept. 2012 The Freezer Fresh with a new building very much like the first & in the same location reopened! I decided to stop here based on the recommendation of the cashier at a nearby gas station. I had a cheeseburger, tots, and milk shake. The shake was good, but not amazing. I was told the Herald Leader did an article on them once, and I don't really see why. The burger was disappointed. It reminded me of something you'd get from McDonald's rather than a dairy bar. Maybe I've just been spoiled by some of the better Dairy Bars I've eaten at. The tots were fine.

I'd stop again if in the area, although more likely just for ice cream...
