I've been wanting to try this new Mexican restaurant. Today was the day as I was already passing it to and from a job interview. So, I stopped for lunch after the interview. Ample parking, nice size interior space, nicely decorated with some artwork on the walls, decent menu, good food, and pleasant service all add up to a good visit. I ordered 2 street tacos at 4 dollars, apiece-- one fish taco (fried) and one carnitas taco. Good options. I also ordered shrimp ceviche at 16 dollars. It comes in a large bowl with a spoon and a lot of chips on the side. What I found quite interesting: 1) free appetizer of puffed rings of some sort. Reminds me of cereal? I dunno. Definitely not a chip and definitely not dippable. Weird. Doesn't seem to go with anything. A first ever being served something like this in any other Mexican restaurant. Not really a fan. 2) street tacos served with cucumber slices on the side. That is also a first, but googling says it is a thing. 3) ceviche served with orange slices -- again, a first but googling says not unheard of. Ok... All tasted good. Worth the visit. The menu could use some lunch specials and combos.

Just had some amazing tacos, done to perfection and served how I like! My original 4 stars no longer feel sufficient, five stars it is. ***** This was my original review with 4 stars... Overall decent Mexican fare. The atmosphere is very cool, spacious and chill. The new deck is a great touch, considering this place was formally the skyview restaurant, which was a bit dark and gloomy. My first job was at the Skyview restaurant, so the place has meaning and was the setting of many a memory. I still like the place quite a bit, and I will continue to patronize them... However, I have had better street tacos. These were not bad, but the tortillas were a bit mushy when ordering delivery. 99 as it is a local establishment, and I will continue to patronize this place. Despite the mushy tacos, the food is really good and the people are really nice. ...and it won't break the bank. (The attached photo hangs on the hallway wall at Primo's)

The food was pretty good but that's where the good stopped. The service both times we have visited was pretty bad. The waitress spilled the nachos all over herself but instead of remaking them and cleaning up the mess, still served them to us. Then her coworker slipped on the mess by our table. She then also spilled our side of rice all over the table and wouldn't prepare us another or clean it up. Maybe the wait staff shouldn't have nails so long they cannot handle the food... The second visit the waiter wouldn't take our orders or would take one persons order and not return to take another order for 5+ minutes. It was a very strange experience. The food is also a bit expensive for what you get. All in all we all just expected a bit more in all aspects. The street corn was served with a pool of water at the bottom which was pretty unappealing.

My husband and I found this place and decided to give it a try!

It was a late Valentine’s Day dinner as I worked all day, but we love Mexican food and were excited to find a place close to our house.

Let me start off by saying how nice it was inside. Very clean, beautifully designed, and really inviting.

We were seated immediately, and they served us “Doritos”, a crunchy wheel shaped snack. Very interesting. I actually liked that it was different than the typical chips and salsa that most places serve.

My husband ordered the special Top Shelf strawberry margarita, and was very happy with it. He’s a relatively hard guy to please when it comes to margaritas!!

We ordered Chips and Guacamole, and “holy moly” was this delicious! I ordered the steak burrito and my husband ordered steak ranchero. The food came out quickly and was plated beautifully. Food was fresh and absolutely amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our visit. We will absolutely be back! Can’t wait for it to get warm so we can try the patio!!!

Definitely give this place a try! I’m going to mention it to all...

This restaurant was clean and well decorated. We were seated immediately and had our drinks and food brought to us promptly. Server wasn't what I would call friendly, but she wasn't rude. She was very efficient as a server. However, I ordered a Carnitas street taco and when I took a bite I immediately thought this doesn't taste good and had a hard time swallowing it. I thought maybe it was just in my head so I took a second bite. I knew then that it wasn't me. That pork was rotten. My husband picked up a piece of the pork and smelt it and said it smelt bad too. When our server saw that I didn't eat it, she asked if I didn't like it. I told her that it was bad. All she said was "I'll take care of it." And then she walked away. She came back with our check and said that she took the taco off for us. No appology or anything. I know she didn't cook it but if I served someone rotten food, I would feel bad. My stomach was rumbling before we even left the restaurant. Side note, guacamole was delicious, and the birria taco...
