I thought I'd never have to post anything against our favorite, Brandin Iron Steakhouse. Mom visited today and brought lunch with her. When she got to the house, she noticed that 2 things were missing from her order. I called the restaurant thinking they would just credit Mom for the missing items. The lady who answered the phone said they would put a note by the register to give to her the next time she came in. I explained to her that my mom was visiting and lived nowhere near the restaurant. I asked her to credit it back to her credit card. She said that they don't credit back to cards. My mom spent $94 for lunch with a $20 tip and you mean to tell me that you cannot credit back $8 to her credit card, better yet, you can't even make sure you put everything in the bags? I had to bite my tongue on this one because it wasn't my issue; however, this was no fault other than Brandin Iron's. This was her favorite steakhouse when she would come up this way and sadly, she won't be back.

08.08.23 This is an update to the business's reply. The lady I spoke with took down my mom’s information. She did say she had to wait until the manager came in so she could speak with them. The same lady I originally spoke with called back and told my mom that she had spoken with the manager, and they were unable to process a refund for the missing food. So, we did what you said before you even had to say it and she was still denied a refund. The manager should have personally called my mom back instead of hiding behind an employee that didn't have authority. I also changed my 3 star to a 2 star because of the dishonest reply from...

Folks, I come before you today with a warning about the steaks at this establishment. When I took my first bite, I was transported back to my days in the service - you know, those thrilling times huddled around an Army campfire, eating food from HOT-As. This NY strip had all the flavor and texture of an MRE entree.

Now I've eaten my share of Waffle House over the years, through many a late night. But even their meat offerings have more nuance than what was placed before me. This thing was saltier than the Dead Sea and thinner than an enlisted man's patience. I've seen more marbling on a slab of particle board.

The strangest part was, our party all ordered the same dish but you'd never know it. One man's hunk of flesh looked like a ribeye while the next bore an unsettling resemblance to a cafeteria patty. The only consistency was a remarkable lack of consistency.

Despite my initial hunger, I could not in good conscience finish such a travesty. I'd like to believe my standards remained high after all these years, but perhaps the real culprit was this so-called steak that not even a veteran's iron stomach could endure. Consider yourselves warned, comrades - steer clear of the meat here, lest your taste buds endure more punishment than they...

This is my favorite place to eat period. The service is superb. We have had to wait before at peak times but it is well worth it. Last night we were seated immediately and our waitress was very attentive and friendly. She came to check on us several times but wasn't overbearing. The entire staff seems happy to be there and it is a really nice family atmosohere. Now for the food. The salad bar is AMAZING. Everything is super fresh and well stocked. Also they have a wonderful variety of veggies that most places don't have. As for the steak... we have tried the 8oz sirloin and strip and both were delicious. Last night my husband and I both ordered the "Delmonico" which is their signature 10oz ribeye. Hands down, the best steak I've ever tasted. Melt in your mouth delicious! We ordered medium and that's what we got which was nice. Paired with the salad bar and a baked potato this more than filled us up. The steak was $10.99 with a side and add a one-trip salad bar for $2.49. Ordered off the kids menu for my daughter and my son ordered the chicken tender hoagie sandwich with fries and he loved it. Total bill was $50. You just...

We had another great experience here for lunch today. It’s an inexpensive family steakhouse with well-seasoned, well-prepared steaks and food, with good service and a consistently satisfying meal experience. We had the Delmonico ribeye, with baked potato and salad and the dirty rice. The steak was thin, but delicious, and the salad (with homemade ranch dressing) was great. The only thing Is that we’re in the middle of the COVID crisis and the manager was roaming thru the restaurant greeting people without a mask. In addition, neither the hostess nor the cashier wore masks. Our server wore a mask when she took our order, but then on subsequent visits to the table, she didn’t. Only a couple of the other servers wore masks at all... This doesn’t bother me that much, but I’m sure I’m the exception to the rule.

First time visiting the Branding Iron. We had a party of 8 and were quickly seated. Our server Jenica(sp?) and the rest of the staff were super friendly and worked in tandem to make sure our table was serviced properly. As more weekend lunch crowd came in, they were in the weeds a bit, but still upbeat and helpful. I would say the stand out was the salad bar. It was fresh with good selection. The rest of the food was good and well seasoned, but not very consistent on the cook/temperature of the steaks. Overall it's good food at a very fair price. I would like to eat here again and try the pork chops or the Philly. I spotted them on another table on the way out and it looked really good.
