We had a lovely Sunday lunch at The Belles and The Whistles. My husband had a fish gyro, I had a veggie gyro, we shared a greek salad and a piece of baklava. It was all very good. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. The salad is really a meal sized salad so we had leftovers to take home. The baklava was drizzled with honey right before being served and the serving was definitely large enough for 2 people. My husband was able to eat his entire fish gyro but I had left overs for later. The greek music played in the dining room was very enjoyable and the proprieters were so friendly and welcoming. First time we had the Lamb Gyros Pita, a Greek Salad and a Burger. Second time, we had the Lamb Gyros Pita, the Chicken Gyros Pita, the Fish Gyros Pita, and a Greek Salad. I love how the lamb is in thick meaty pieces versus thin slices. I ordered moussaka mainly for my wife who loves eggplant but I do not and she finished the plate.
