We sat for 18 minutes on a slow night before the server walked over to take our drink order. We said we will give you our whole order since we had been waiting for so long. She took the order then came back and slammed our drinks down. I thought it might just been set down hard but when she came next to us again to clear and set empty table she started doing it again but not to the other table next to us. She never came back to clear our plates and the other server picture attached had her hair going into the plates of the table behind us. Health department says long hair for this reason needs to be pulled back. This was our second bad experience Dining at the parkesburg Victory brewing and we won't be going back to this location again. To be far we have gone here for drinks at the bar a few times and haven't had a problem. Just in the dining room. Food Service is what I do for a living and there was a serious lack of management and training. If you come in might want to...
Read moreI struggled with how many stars to give because we really do love Victory and are regulars. However, you guys really missed the mark with yesterday’s egg hunt.
On the way there, I told my children to keep their expectations low, as I know these events are hard to prepare for when you don’t know how many kids will show up. I just didn’t know at the time that there was clearly hardly any preparation.
When we got there we asked where we needed to go for the 8+ time slot. The response was “upstairs, if there are any eggs left.” What do you mean if there are any eggs left? You have an entire time slot for 8+. Clearly you would be prepared for that. Nope, she was not kidding. Between the four kids in our group, only one got an egg…and, it was empty. Luckily, they had a good sense of humor about it but we saw many upset children with empty baskets.
I guess you did achieve your goal of packing the place on a Sunday…good for you. Perhaps that was really the only thing you...
Read moreDefinitely worth the drive through beautiful rural southeastern Pennsylvania farmland, Victory brewing was awesome. They offered 28 different varieties of their beers on tap and had a few wine selections, as well. They offer generous five-ounce pours at a reasonable price in their flights of up to five beers. Every beer in my flight of five beers was excellent. I chose between pilseners and IPAs and enjoyed every single one. Their food menu is extensive with several gluten-free options. My only disappointment was with the “flash fried cauliflower.” I think the fryer temperature was about 25 degrees too low as they came out soggy and they really needed some seasoning, a sprinkle of salt or something. The garlic sauce on the side was unimpressive. On the other hand, the Korean Beef bowl was outstanding. Everyone else at my table was very satisfied with their meals, as well. And the service we received at the table from Hildy was very attentive, friendly,...
