Giovanni's Pizza — Restaurant in West Union

They're pretty dang tasty, we've been here a dozen times or so, they do dine in or carry out, I think delivery as well but we're out of the city limits so idk. The pizza knots are my favorite, make sure to get a garlic butter and marinara to dip them in! My husband and kiddo have tried a few pizzas and sandwiches. All in all they're a pretty decent chain pizza place. Personally we're not huge fans of the sandwiches as they're super generic and almost identical meats (just one long 'italian' meat patty) just with different toppings. They do have a small arcade with some games off the back which is pretty cool. They're pretty dated and minimalist on the interior. They have plenty of seating tho, it's mainly tables (I don't actually think they have booths) the kitchen always looks spotless but the dining room is kinda dingy looking, I'm a previous professional cleaner tho so I have some super high expectations. The workers have always been nice and made sure our food was correct. They're also fast, usually only a 15 min wait between ordering and food. Also as an autistic adult who wears headphones and can go nonverbal the workers have always been extremely nice and work with me to make sure they've got my order correct and I have the info for when it's ready for pick up. Not once has anyone said a snarky comment about my gear or having to read my order from a piece of paper or even given me a dirty look bc of it. Which seems small...

Took my Mother to dinner here last Friday night, only to discover the staff is absolutely unprofessional, unfriendly, neglectful of their customers, and quite frankly too young and obviously not taught basic manners. We ordered from a tall young brunette, who had ZERO people skills, and who didn't care enough to bring napkins, check on our satisfaction with our food, and whom we had to "wave down" (keep in mind, my Mother and I are THE ONLY CUSTOMERS IN THE DINING ROOM) to get our check and boxes to go. Also, just have to add, this establishment has a jukebox in the dining area OBVIOUSLY for CUSTOMERS USE (ya know, the people who pay your checks) and after pay 7 dollars to pick music, the "staff" literally turned the volume down. 🙄 I guess if it's not country music, it's not able to be understood and appreciated by said "staff". My boyfriend and I went here tonight to get a pizza. A few weeks ago the only thing wrong was is we asked for it to be cut in pie. It was cut in squares. We went tonight, asked for pie cut, half pep and the other half beefed up and all over extra cheese. 45 mins we go in and it’s cut in squares and it’s all meat. They remake it, cut in pie, still all meat. My boyfriend goes in and told them it’s still wrong. They repeated the order to me 3 times half pep and half beefed up. Still got it wrong. We would’ve been fine with it but I really don’t like bacon. I don’t think they truly pay attention to the tickets. The manager also came out and asked if we could just eat it like that.
