Taste of China — Restaurant in West Union

Taste of China has to be the best restaurant I have ever experienced. The food is simply amazing and the service is fantastic, in fact those superlatives do not even give this place justice. I discovered this tiny (very tiny) mom and pop shop about three years ago and have consitantly ordered from them at least once a week and have never had a negative experience. My order has always been hot, correct, and delicious The restaurant is owned by a couple, who do everything, the man whom prepares the food and the woman who serves and manages the point of sale. Together they accomplish a magical feat and give the best service and serve the best food. Recently, I have moved to Columbus and I have never been able to find a Chinese restaurant that even comes close to Tase of China, every time I visit home I must have their food and it simply makes my day. The only negative (I personally do NOT find this displeasing) is there can be a wait on the weekend, up to 45 mins, but their food is sooooo good I would personally wait a week for it. Their lunch specials are excellent, a cheap price for A LOT of food. Around $6 for your entree, rice, egg roll, and a cup of soup; they also do not skimp on portions. Awful. I have a service dog to assist with my multiple disabilities. Due to my medical equipment having four legs, fur, and a pulse - I was told I could not eat there and had to leave. I met a friend for a bite to eat at "Taste of China" around 5:00 pm on November 26th. While we were deciding what to order, an employee (seemed like one of the owners) told me that I couldn't have my dog in there. I explained that my dog was a service dog that I required due to my disabilities. I was told I could order food to go but I couldn't stay and eat. After trying to explain some more, the employee/owner went into the back. A young boy (around 10 years old) met me by the counter and for the next few minutes, the boy told me I could not stay to eat. I asked to speak to the manager and was told there wasn't one. I just ordered my food here for take out, I walked over to cashland pawn shop to look around my son had to use the restroom, I walked him over and the lady had just saw me there and my son is 5 years old, no other place around to use the bathroom and they denied my son to use the restroom here. I was very upset at this place, I will be contacting my lawyer this is ridiculous behavior to deny a 5 year old child to use the bathroom, especially after we had just went there and ordered food, my son could not hold it any longer and messed himself do to their horrible decision making/actions. Very disrespectful place to go and not kid friendly I would definitely not ever go back to this place. This used to be one of my favorite Chinese places, certainly not now!!!!
