We visited this restaurant today and it was our first time. The place is decorated lovely. It’s like you’re stepping back in time. We got seated right away. Our waiter came over and asked if we were ready to order. He never told us his name or smiled. We needed a few minutes so he walked away. When he came back I was asking about some of the food items. He did not seem interested to be there waiting on us.
The food itself was amazing. We got the spinach dip appetizer and hubby got Shrinp & Grits and I got the Kate Salad. Everything tasted amazing.
When our waiter came over with the check, he did not put it down nor was their itemized slip in there. We handed over our credit card. It seemed expensive, so I asked my husband if we got the itemized bill. We did not, so we called the waiter over and he gave it to us. So, now we know it seemed expensive, because they already added the 20% tip. The waiter was going to skip giving us the printout so we could leave another tip. Plus, if you did not give someone a handout of the itemized bill, then at least tell them tip is included.

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Draper's Restaurant at The Greenbrier, and it was a delightful experience. The burger was exceptional—perfectly cooked, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The fries were equally impressive, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, complementing the burger perfectly.
While Draper's is on the pricier side, the value you receive is well worth it. The quality of the food, the ambiance, and the overall dining experience make it a great choice for a special meal. The service was outstanding, with the staff being both fast and friendly, ensuring that we felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our visit.
The charming and elegant atmosphere of Draper's adds to the overall enjoyment, making it a perfect spot for both casual meals and special occasions. I highly recommend Draper's Restaurant at The Greenbrier for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable dining experience with excellent food and...
Read moreBeautiful restaurant inside the Greenbrier Resort. Decor and ambience of this resturant is welcoming. Food is well prepared, presented nicely and prices are not exorbitant for being inside a 5star hotel. Portions are quite generous too. Service was excellent. I went twice during my stay at the Greenbrier. I had the artichoke dip and ice cream the first day. Good dish. Enough for two. Ice cream scoops are large and delicious . I tried butter pecan the first day. Really good. The second day I had the club sandwich husband had the fried chicken and another of us had the pot pie. I tasted all three and each was well prepared and beautifully plated. We had strawberry ,vanilla and coffee flavored icecreams. Very creamy and flavorful. There is a choice of toppings like whipped cream, nuts, hot fudge etc. Nice place for families. I would have given 5 stars. What I did not like was that the gratuity is added to the bill and there is a line for...
