My family went there for the first time the other day. My son got this sandwich. He unwrapped his and it was completely soggy and falling apart. Between the nacho sauce and the seasoning, it had a very serious kick to it. My other son got the chicken mac n cheese. The chicken was entirely dry and felt like it was old and left out all day. The mac n cheese tasted like they used shredded cheese only. It was very oily, lumpy, and just didn't taste right. My wife got one of their baked potatoes that was loaded with brisket and chicken. Had their mac n cheese in it as well. Again, the meat was really dry and seemed like it had sat out all day. Myself, I got a full rack of ribs. They fell off the bone, the flavor wasn't bad, but all the rub that was on it was just gritty in the mouth. Very little sauce on the meat too. In total, with a 30% tip expecting the food to be amazing (based on others recommendations), we spent $110. That total includes these meals, 4 coke bottles, and two sides. I do not recommend this place as its overpriced and the food isn't great. Out of 10, I give this...
Read moreI cannot believe this place is a 4.6. Maybe if you like cold day old food. I had pulled pork with gummy Mac cheese and flavorless coleslaw. The pulled pork came with no sauce. It was warm at best and smoked earlier in the week I'm assuming. The rue for the Mac and Cheese must be entirely flour and smoked paprika. Definitely little to no cheese. Would it kill u to hit your slaw with a shot of vinegar??? Ugh my boyfriend got a centerstreet potato which was dry brisket, very little sauce or cheese on a chopped potato. Luke warm. Freshness is half the battle people get it together!!!
-wow I must have really hit a nerve for this response AND to lie and say we were 30 minutes late picking up our order. BTW it took more then 30 minutes to do the damage that had been done to that food LOL 😆 but hopefully all your good deeds with carry you thru!...
Read moreRibs are tender, a little weak in flavor.. 1/2 rack will set you back 16-bucks.. When I am in the mood I pick them up and make my own Rib sauce to crisp them up a bit with in my own oven.. Brisket can have a watery taste.. The house BBQ sauces to me, are store bought and maybe adjusted somewhat to make them their own.. BBQ beans are obviously commercial standard baked beans that they kick up a bit.. I am not a fan of the beans.. They push hard on the tip aspect, for counter service, I really think that is a bit over the top..
Their "chili" is pretty decent..
Service is fast, they people that work there are nice... It is the only place around, so if you want ribs, this is where you will end up..
1/2 rack ribs and a Brisket Sandwich will run you in the 35 buck range.. with no sides... So I will stop here about once every...
