Moe's Restaurant and Cafe — Restaurant in West Virginia

This place is absolutely horrible. Terrible customer service. I called ahead before placing my order online. We had ordered hamburgers from them before, and they were overcooked. So I wanted to make sure the burgers were cooked rare/medium rare this time. Sarah said she'd take care of it. When the burgers came, they were more overcooked than before, so I called the restaurant to complain and also let them know they'd only given us half the wings we ordered. Asked for the missing wings, and for the burgers to be redone. The manager "Nasser" offered us 25% off next order but would not replace the burgers. After waiting almost an hour, they delivered the missing wings with apologies and a gallon of sweet tea we as diabetics cannot drink. Four previous orders placed without problem (except the twice overcooked burgers) but this place is going downhill after a recent change in ownership. Better off ordering elsewhere....

We ordered a specialty pizza and the crust was nice, thin, and crispy with a hint of garlic butter. The ingredients were fresh and was served nice and hot. The waitress was very attentive and kept our glasses full and even gave us to-go cups for the road. My only complaint was they were out of all of their desserts except for the cheesecake which was disappointing because we were excited to try their baklava. Also, the floors were littered with debris and really needed sweeping. There was no one in the restaurant at the time so there was definitely time to sweep up before the next round of customers came in. Their bathroom was freshly cleaned. Overall a good experience. My mom knows I hate chains. She told me about a "local" place near where she lives, so we had lunch there. Frankly, it's more "diner" than "restaurant," and the folding chairs had me concerned, but then I got my food. Awesome. Bread was perfect... not hard and not burned. The ingredients and meat were very fresh, and the overall meal was completely satisfying. It's a place where "everybody knows your name" for sure, and our server was very attentive and helpful. If you are traveling through WV and need a meal break, or if you live nearby, you need to check this place out. By the way, Zilabia is apparently the equivalent of "funnel cake...
