Subway — Restaurant in West Virginia

I love Subway, and this particular subway is the most convenient for me to stop at, however, I tried calling to place an order there and I was informed they couldn’t take orders over the phone, that I would have to do it through the app. It’s kind of hard to do that while driving. It’s also the first time I have been told this by a subway restaurant. I just don’t understand why they would rather lose business or just take an order over the phone.
