Bagel Nosh in East Windsor, New Jersey, is a delightful bagel shop that offers a wide variety of delicious bagels and other treats. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warm and inviting aroma of freshly baked bagels.
The shop offers a wide variety of bagel flavors, including classic favorites like plain and sesame, as well as more unique flavors like blueberry and French toast. I opted for the everything bagel, and it was delicious. The bagel was perfectly toasted and had just the right amount of chewiness, with a generous sprinkling of savory seasoning on top.
In addition to bagels, the shop offers a variety of spreads and toppings, including cream cheese, butter, and smoked salmon, allowing customers to customize their bagel experience. The staff members were friendly and helpful, providing recommendations on the best bagel and topping combinations.
The shop also offers a range of other treats, including breakfast sandwiches, deli sandwiches, and pastries. The sandwiches were especially impressive, with fresh ingredients and generous portions that left me feeling satisfied.
The shop's decor is charming and cozy, with warm colors and comfortable seating that create a welcoming atmosphere. The staff members are friendly and attentive, making the experience feel personal and enjoyable.

Read moreI typically enjoyed the food here for the past 2 years since living in the area. But I just had a rotten experience this morning. The last 4 times I was here in early weekday mornings, it was the same two women running things. One takes the orders and the other mans the grill. And each time, I ordered a breakfast sandwich the way I usually take it - with pepper and ketchup added. And these last 4 times, I saw the woman write down “P/K” for pepper and ketchup and every time, the woman manning the grill would forget. This morning, while ordering - I asked her if she could make sure that ketchup was added because it was forgotten the last several times. I was not rude at all when said that. And I usually let stuff like that go, but when it literally happened the last 4 times, I decided it’s time to mention it.
When I got to the car and opened up my sandwich, it was smothered in ketchup… I am not exaggerating when I say that the the top and bottom of the bagels were literally soaking through in ketchup. It was all over the wrapper as soon as I opened it up. I love ketchup, but a normal amount - the way it usually comes. However, not half the bottle! This sandwich was inedible, and that’s coming from a person who can eat most things. This action was clearly done out of spite by the woman at the grill because I “complained” that they were forgetting to add the ketchup.
With the current morning staff here, be careful if you ever complain about anything - if they’ll do something like that out of spite, what other potential unsanitary things would they do...
Read moreI have been coming here for years now, as I’ve grown up in East Windsor. It’s always been a weird atmosphere, not friendly, not welcoming at all. It’s a family owned business, ran by a mom and very good food… but this doesn’t excuse horrible customer service. I had ordered 10 minutes before through phone. I came in and stood in line. The younger boy in the back just looked at me and didn’t ask if I needed help. As there were people away from the register waiting on their orders to be done. They had been there, I wasn’t. You would think he would ask if he could help me. Just looked at me until I looked at him and told him I ordered on the phone. The owner and him look to see if it’s almost done, but didn’t communicate it’s not ready or anything. I’m just standing there waiting and not even being told I have to wait. Especially the owner knowing it’s not done didn’t say anything to me just looked at me briefly. When it was finally done the young boy didn’t even say anything, legit motioned me to come over to pay. Being that I’ve worked in customer service, there’s a way of doing this. Especially for a small business. It’s not an atmosphere most people want to come to.
Edit: I waited an extra 5 minutes after ordering 10 minutes before on the phone- bagels aren’t toasted what so ever. And I ordered toasted dark. I’m very...
