Ploy Siam Nui Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Westampton Township

Let me start by saying i wanted to love this place. I wanted to find someplace I can get the drunken noodles I so madly fell in love with. So after seeing the good reviews we decided to order here for pickup. We ordered and it gave us a 20 min wait time so we showed up maybe half an hour later. My husband was inside for a good 15 mins waiting because they said it wasnt ready yet. He comes out and gets in the car and we head on our way and then he says it cost him $66, for 2 orderd of crazy noodles(drunken noodles) it was supposed to be half that amount. So i pull over and we check the food, it seems there may be 1 drunken noodles but there were 2 other meals and a soup that we did not order. So i turn around and drive the 10 mins back. Hubby goes in and the man that ordered what we received was there to pick up their food and he explains what happened and the gentleman gets his food and the worker fixes the charges. Hubby takes what he thinks is actually what we ordered this time. We get home and find what looks like is supposed to be an order of drunken noodles but it is dry, no sauce, very bland no flavor. The other meal is as best i can figure some sort of coconut curry (def has curry in it) with a totally differnet type of noodles and pinapple. Both dishes were very plain and dod not have veey much flavor, neither of them were hot because they were probably sitting there from 20 mins past the order time. Very bad experience. Maybe the best Thai food I've ever had. Vegetables where extremely fresh and the chicken and mushrooms were each ideally tender and juicy. Everything was perfectly done. You can request a side of chili oil if the food is not spicy enough, but either way, very good. I have a feeling that they mostly do takeout, but they provided a nice full dining experience.

At the end, we were recommended the mango sticky rice, which I've never before had. The experience was transformative. This is definitely now my favorite dessert by far. The diverse but nuanced interplay between the flavors, textures, even temperatures of the juicy fresh mango slices, the warm and mild rice, and the creamy flavorful coconut milk combines into an experience of partaking in masterful soul food. The presentation is also very elegant. Next time I will try the banana dessert.

Really enjoyed the food at this restaurant we live in Mt Holly NJ we are very picky when eating Thai food we usually drive all the way to Pennsylvania to our favorite Thai restaurant to get it because we tried so many other that restaurants never could find one we really liked until we found this place the food was lovely the yellow chicken curry the crispy duck among a few other dishes was delicious tho its only take out because of covid the service and the lady who took our order was very nice.
