Subway — Restaurant in Westbrook

I have been to many subway restaurants in the past. This is one of the worst by far. The sandwiches are skimpy to say the least. The tomatoes were mushy and ruined what was actually somewhat edible in the sandwich. The corners of my bread were also stale and it was NOT toasted. I also asked for a veggie wrap and they would not put more than 2 cucumbers or 2 tomatoes on the wrap. They said they did not want the wrap to rip. They continued to explain why they were stingy with the veg in the wrap. But whatever their excuses were, they were invalid. I have worked food service and wraps are not that difficult to handle. If they knew how to fold a wrap it would not rip. It certainly was the smallest subway wrap i have ever bought. I don't usually go to subway anymore because they all have seriously declined in the last few years. I always go to the Whole Enchilada located next door. I thought i would give Subway another shot since my coworker preferred to eat there today....but never again. I will stick to my freshly made burritos and the friendly...

I went in there to order me and my girlfriend a Sandwich, only I had forgotten what my girlfriend had ordered (she was waiting in the car). I used the restroom first, then came out and explained I would be back in, in just a moment after I figured out what she wanted. The man behind the counter became irate, saying “Don’t play with me”, went on to say “Don’t f* with me”, and stormed into the back. I politely asked the woman next to me who was stocking chips, if I could still get food, and simply stated that the employee behind the counter shouldn’t talk to customers that way, considering the threatening demeanor, she told me “You could, yes”, then the man came storming back, yelling “What?! What?!” “Get out!”, which is when I decided it’d be best if I left and got us dinner somewhere else. Worst experience of my life, food was not fresh, never should have eaten it. I ended up getting sick and throwing up for a day and a half. My wife was treated horribly, belittled, embarrassed and of all things they would NOT accept the coupon that Subway themselves printed out.
