Alessio's Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Westfield

I just ordered take out from Allessio's and the entire order was HORRIBLE. The wings were dry and old and chewy, the pizza tasted like a cardboard pizza you'd get in the cafeteria in grade school, Allessio's pizza and sauce was my favorite in our town, it's nothing like that anymore), the caesar salad had those small square croutons that you get in a huge bag, old, stale and gross. The only reason I order the caesar salad is for the incredible homemade dressing and homemade croutons, it's not the same at all. When I called to speak the manager, it wasn't Allessio, or his dad, it was some little a** who was incredibly RUDE. I told him about the wings and the salad and he said "you're calling to complain about croutons?" I replied, "no the entire order was horrible". I asked him his name and I couldn't understand him so I asked again and he said with an attitude: "I just told you". I said "where is Allessio? He would not handle things this way" and he said, "he sold it to us a couple months ago he's not here". I told him I was posting my feedback so everyone will know Allessio's is no more, he said: "go ahead, I don't care". So, be warned, one of Westfield's best restaurants is now owned by new people who are rude and do not care about the food or their customers like Allessio did. Alessio’s is a must try pizza shop if you are in Westfield. When my mom and I first moved here, it was the first pizza place we tried and we loved the sounds of so many of their gourmet pizzas, we would check the ones that we tried off on our takeout menu and would try a new one every time we ordered. Never disappointed. This week, I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and they are so thoughtful, they even put the chicken on the side so the lettuce doesn’t get warm. Quality shaved parmesan and delicious dressing to go with it. The onion rings are phenomenal. I only wish I ordered the large instead of the small order! Today, I got the appetizer sampler order and OMG that is WAY more food than I expected! It came in a full 13x9 foil tray!! The people that work there are so kind when you go in and the delivery drivers are so polite, I look forward to seeing them. I can not say enough good things about this amazing place. This is one of the few places in town that have the chicken and broccoli white pizza. My pizza was good, they use a garlic sauce instead of an alfredo sauce so it wasn't amazing. But they only get 3 stars because the service wasn't up to par. And maybe it wouldn't have bothered me if i wasn't on my lunch break. I walk in and yield to this man coming from the hall way in front of me. He gestures me to the counter. But then, from behind me he asks the chick at the counter why she doesn't talk to him anymore. They have a conversation that ends with him giving her his number. Then she just kind of stares at me so I say "Im here to pick up" She looks around to see that shes the only one near the counter so she asked me what I got and served me. The other thing I saw is that they only wear one glove. Which wouldn't be so bad if the other chick I saw was using the gloved hand to hold the cucumber instead of the knife. kinda of defeats the purpose. I would order the pizza again but will account for more time...
