A year ago this place was an easy 5 stars and beyond, and now itâs a shell of its former self. As employees kept leaving, the level of quality of the food and service dropped down drastically to where itâs apparent now that they just donât care about serving you great food and just care about overcharging you.
Used to be a regular there before covid and during the first months of curbside opening and loves the food, especially the cheeseburger and beef dip. Came back after a couple months break to find their unique cheeseburger, made using quality buttered buns and a generous amount of quality beef, is now a glorified McDonaldâs burger. Their crazy good aioli burger sauce is just normal 1000 island dressing and the portion is visibly smaller for the same price of $7 per burger.
I get that itâs a Westfield restaurant so itâs easy to finesse the folk living around here but the high price of the food used to be worth it just for the taste alone. That is discounting their mediocre Tex-Max offerings of course.
Overall, youâll like this place if youâre looking for a quick bite and have money to burn and it is admittedly still better than most places like it but itâs definitely not the restaurant it...
Read moreI leaned about this establishment through the local community Facebook page and after seeing that they won an award for the best sandwich in town, I knew that I had to visit. I first had their award winning southern style chicken sandwich with a side of disco fries. Let's start with the sandwich.... Everything from the crunch of the pickle to the juiciness of the chicken all melded together with the sweetness from the bread for an incredibly mind blowing experience. The disco fries, perfectly fried and the right amount of cheese and gravy. Did I mention the hint of rosemary? Perfection at it's finest and this was my first time there!!!! I knew I'd be back and I did. This time, I had the bifana sandwich. Me being Portuguese, I'm no stranger to this sandwich. I'm Portugal, the bifana sandwich is to the Portuguese what PB&J is to us Americans. Northside Kitchen hit the mark once again. The perfectly seasoned pork with the caramelized onions was simply incredible. Ron and his staff are doing some good in town and I can't wait to go back to sample more...
Read moreI wanted something quick for dinner and ended up trying this spot. I called in my order of the buttermilk chicken sandwich. When I arrived I parked nearby. I walked in and the place was small and cozy with indoor and outdoor dining. The young lady asked my name and I told her. My food was ready, I paid a little over $9 and left out. When I got home I dug in. They gave me 2 free chocolate chip cookies which was nice. They put the coleslaw on the side so I added it before tasting it. When I tried the sandwich I liked it. The only thing was the coleslaw was a little too sweet. The sandwich itself was filling and the bread was soft. I had a good experience and...
