What a huge disappointment on Chinese New Year. Ordered 4 dishes Chicken with Chinese eggplant, Peking duck, large oriental crispy pad Thai and pepper flowery shrimp and could not eat. Food has no taste, poor quality. This place has a 4.4 star rating in Grubhub and does not come close to even 2 stars. Even if you starve you are better off ordering from Mac D. Here’s why I was so disappointed: Peking duck was very dry likely very old, and should come with bao but they gave me Mexican tortillas! Unbelievable. Pepper flowery shrimp had a thick coat of tasteless and lumpy batter which could not be chewed and broke into lumps. Oriental large crispy pad Thai- the crispy part was fried a few days ago, so smelled of stale oil! What the heck! Overall dish was very poor quality and no taste. Never order this dish. 4 . Chinese eggplant with chicken, they do not know how to cut Chinese eggplant. Huge tasteless chunks of eggplants filled seeds but edible. The conclusion is food is not fresh, poor quality and they do not take care when preparing food, ingredients stale like the oil. Why do we want to pay money and buy food that is so poor quality. There are many good places around! Stay away and save your money. It is hard to make food taste this bad unless they do not care about their business. Customers are not stupid so don’t think they will shut up after eating this food. It takes real bad food to warrant such...
Read moreThis was a very confusing transaction. I walked into the carry out store front where I ordered general Tsau’s chicken lunch special. The person behind the plexiglass panel thought I wanted sweet-and-sour chicken, so they gave me a 1 inch thick tub of a hot jelly sauce with peppers in it and a box of chicken fingers. I thought the red jelly sauce was some kind of free soup, but it wasn’t, turns out it was intended to replicate sweet and sour sauce, which is still not what I even ordered. Unfortunately, I learned that after taking two or three healthy swigs of this hot jelly sauce. I kept eating chicken finger after chicken finger after chicken finger and there was still 3 or 4 left in the box. When I open up what appeared to be a bonus paper bag, thinking it was a crab Rangoon or a spring roll or some thing else delicious… anything, but you guessed it… Another 3 bonus chicken fingers! By this point I’m fairly confident this facility has nothing more than a variety of different hot jelly sauces and and endless amount of chicken fingers in the kitchen. Needless to say, I don’t think I will be eating Chinese chicken fingers for a long time. The chicken fingers themselves weren’t that bad, but considering all I was left to eat for my lunch was a plate of chines chicken fingers with a bonus pack of 3 more chicken fingers, I was left, feeling confused...
Read moreIt's not often a I leave a 5 star review for a restaurant, but in this case I feel it is well deserved. Reading through the previous reviews I must admit I was a bit skeptical, but I prefer to form my own opinions based on personal experience- glad I did!
I had a pickup time of 3:39 and picked up at about 3:45. I was in the restaurant no longer than 45 seconds and I was my way home with our food. First off I will tell you that our order was completed exactly as requested on-line and the food was piping hot when we got it home 10 minutes later.
If you like seafood, I recommend the Mala Seafood (medium spice) add a side of rice and you have a delicious dinner for two with crispy veggies and tons of flavor . I went solo on this entre' and nearly devoured the entire thing. Also, the wings were super crispy and steaming hot with great seasoning.
I can't speak for anyone that may have had a bad experience, it happens. I can only tell you I will be a repeat...
