I went because the reviews were so good. Well, in my humble opinion, it was okay. I do not recommend the Combination - is not paired with Rice and Beans and being the higher priced dish (+3 for the poblano), around $21, not a value. The chile relleno, had what I would call queso filling. Taco was decently filled but the ground beef was lacking flavor. Tostada with carnitas was light on the meat and I had to add salsa and salt to add flavor. Enchiladas were decently filled with ground beef but would have been better if they were hot (temperature). So happy to have this place in the neighborhood. Both me and my wife love spicy food and it's rare for a local restaurant to deliver on food that burns the back of our throats to our liking. Wapos does just that. I had the chili Verde burrito and found it to have a perfect heat level. My wife had the OMG burrito which is huge and ordered it extra hot. It was fantastic! This place is a gem! The interior is absolutely beautiful, and the seating is super comfortable with plenty of TVs to catch the game. I can’t wait to come back during the summer months!
