My family and I met there for Breakfast. We were there at 9:45am. We waited for over an hour after we ordered our food To get refills on our drinks. The waitress (Savannah T) never once came back to our table and I had to wave her down to get refills after she went to a new table to take their order. Again this is after we had been there for over an hour. I then had to ask again about our order which was after we had been there over an hour. I did not curse or raise my voice and Savannah became combative with my elder aunt. I explained to her we were here for over an hour and we didn’t want our food cold. I also told her we were the customer and did not appreciate or need her attitude and ask for the manager. She took the tray with coffee cups and whatever else and threw it on an empty table which cause a huge commotion. She was very combative and frankly very immature. The worse part was that the manager or cook which ever she was came out to our table and defended her actions stating they were low staffed and only 2 cooks. Well this place needs to staff appropriately. The manager or cook whichever she is was also rude and defended her employees actions. The table that just had come in made a comment that they weren’t staying for that kinda service or attitude in service and left. Our food finally came and part of it was cold, The toast was hard and cold and my Aunts gluten free pancakes were bitter and not edible. Never once did anyone come to see how our food was or see if we needed refills. I had to ask for the check and spent $125 on this meal for seven and the worst service I have ever experienced. My family and I will never step foot in this restaurant again. There were several people that didn’t even get seated that turned around d an left. This waitress needs a little education on working with the public and not to be combative and throw little temper tantrums. The manger did a horrible job ensuring that we left that restaurant on a good note. Worst IHop experience I...
Read moreTitle: A Chilling Experience at IHOP
If you ever find yourself yearning for a dining experience that combines the charm of the Arctic with the thrill of a marathon, IHOP is your destination. Our recent visit was nothing short of a frosty fiasco.
The evening started promisingly enough with a pleasant and polite server, whose warmth was unfortunately counteracted by her apparent superpower: invisibility. Ignoring our table must be a hidden talent, because she executed it flawlessly.
Our seats were strategically placed under the air conditioner vent, transforming our dining experience into a scene from a winter survival movie. My wife, a trooper as always, donned her Antarctic parka to brave the icy blasts. It felt like we were being prepped for an endurance test rather than a meal.
After what felt like a glacial age—30 minutes to be exact—our food finally arrived. It became a race against time and temperature to consume our meals before they turned into gourmet ice sculptures. Sadly, the pancakes didn’t stand a chance and succumbed to the chill.
In a desperate bid to salvage the meal, I brought our plight to the manager's attention. The solution? A generous offer to reheat the now frozen pancakes. Politely, I declined the reheated option and instead requested new pancakes, specifying they should arrive post-air conditioning apocalypse. This simple request seemed to thrust me into the role of the evening’s antagonist.
Despite the server's unwavering pleasantness, her continued absence from our table left me feeling like the villain for merely wanting a warm meal. Alas, my polite and respectful complaints fell on deaf ears, overshadowed by the frigid ambiance and the cold, hard reality of IHOP's service.
In conclusion, if you enjoy dining in sub-zero temperatures with a side of neglect, IHOP is the place for you. Just remember to pack your parka and bring a stopwatch—your meal...
Read moreNever greeted, after 20 mins, we were finally able to get our name added to wait list. And then an additional 20-25 mins, we got seated. 40 mins later one girl came and took our drink order and we asked her to take our food order as well. Got our drinks around 20 mins later, and then some other girl told us she couldn’t put our food order in but should be soon. Another 20-25 mins later, the random girl said our order would be going in next. Had no idea what was happening, they weren’t that busy but had an 8 top and several dirty tables and stayed dirty. No one even bothered sweeping floors from fallen food. From the time we ordered to we got our food was over an hour. No one ever apologized. When the girl brought our check and wanted payment, she finally apologized but no sincerity. Never checked on us, never offered refills, syrup, jelly for toast or anything. We had to keep flagging different people. Never offered dessert, free drinks or anything. We asked for discount bc the wait time was unbelievable and they blamed it on kitchen staff and the one girl who was server seemed to actually be in charge. She gave us like 10% discount and never even apologized. We were never rude and obviously way too understanding to wait as long as we did. I just wanted strawberry crepes for Mother’s Day and didn’t tell us til much later they were out. Couldn’t even say happy Mother’s Day, have a nice day or anything. She just spoke over us to some guy walking in which were assuming boyfriend or husband, but told him she wasn't getting off work til later bc they were busy. In which they were not. We will never go back to this ihop. I’m sorry to leave such a bad review, but obviously this place wasn’t being ran well at all....
