Got takeout from here recently. It was very hot and humid and we didn't want to cook. Guys behind the counter were friendly and helpful. We ended up with a ton of food kind of by accident. We got a chicken shwarma, a falafal shwarma, a medium pizza, a large pizza, and an order of fries. We ordered the large pie, and were told that because we'd ordered over $30 we could get a free medium pizza. We had leftovers for a couple days, so it was fine.
The shwamas were great! The chicken had great flavor and spices, but not spicy. The rice was cooked just right. The falafal was really good. My girlfriend thought it needed lemon, we'll try it that way next time. The fries were juuuuuust a teeny crispy, and the potatos they used weren't peeled. Not any kind of criticism, they were good, just for everyone's info. I was surprised to find that it was thin crust pizza cooked in an oven on the stone or a tray, but it wasn't greek pizza. The pizza had cheese like we'd ordered an extra cheese, and the pie waa a little on the light side. Next time I'll tell them to char if a little, that's how we like it. There was nothing bad about the pizza at all, we ate it happily (and will again) so for a pizza person like myself, that's noteworthy. The bottom of the crust had a thin, crisp with the dough above being soft and having a little chew. The edge crust was the same. The sauce had great flavor and it was covered in a very mild mozzarella or maybe a mozz blend. The cheese had good flavor and wasn't too chewy, and wasn't very sharp at all. Overall, a very pleasant pizza and dinner.
The interior of the business is the only downside. Don't get me wrong, it looks like almost every town's 3 pizza places. It was certainly clean and inviting, but it was in the 80s outside, and was hotter inside. I don't remember an air conditioner, but even if there were, it wasn'r on/working. Three seasons of the year it's a non-issue. Summer time? If you're dining in, think about that ahead of time.
Overall, the food was worth the money, I want to say we ended up spending 40-45 dollars and had food for days. I would love to see someone add some decorative flavor to this place, it's barely noticable from the street (in a plaza set back from the road, with a generic white backlit sign. If you're looking to try something different I would definitely recommend Timo's, but for the summer?...
Read moreI received a menu brochure in the mail last week & being in Dartmouth, I only knew of 2 places that deliver & I was tired of both, esp price increase vs consistency. After looking through the menu, I decided to give it a try after having oral surgery & Def not cooking, lol! I got the softest item i could (Tuna sub W provolone & lettuce) & cheese pizza for the family. I was pleasantly surprised to see how BIG the pizza was & that the sub COMES WITH fries!! Sub was delicious, bread was so soft I had no issues, the pizza was fantastic (altho I only had a bite, too hard to manage after oral surgery, lol) The sub was big enough that half filled me & will make a great lunch tmrw, especially where I'm SURE I'll be sore. My son was loving how big the pizza was & ate 3/4 of it on his own 😂 so I know it was good! It was also cooked to perfection & not at all overdone! Phone order was a bit difficult on my end only bc again, surgery made it awkward to speak clearly, lol, but we got through it & they had patience & was very understanding! They called when having difficulty finding me, but that happens often as my bldg is hard to see from the road & the weather was not great, but we got him here! I will absolutely be ordering here again as soon as I heal so I can order what I REALLY want, chx quesadilla, grilled chx salad, the list is endless to be honest,...
Read moreThe food is delicious when it’s given correctly. 3 out of the 5 times I’ve ordered here the food order was wrong or missing items. Every time except this time (I’ve given up because I don’t get anywhere when I call) it feels like your lying about what your calling about and the last time I called the guy simply said oh well just get a refund on Uber eats acting like he didn’t care at all so pretty much my child had nothing to eat because they didn’t want to fix the issue. Dominoes recently they messed up my order and sent a person to rectify the issue by bringing the fixed pizza and I had to give the wrong one back. I don’t care about a refund I want the food I ordered and expected. Do better with your customer service and pay attention to what people are ordering specially since you guys keep messing up orders I’m sure I’m not the only one if this has happened to me several times. FIX THE ISSUE! If you mess it up fix the problem if you want to keep customers. Messed up an item or didn’t provide it… make the item correct or provide the item have YOUR DRIVER since I already tipped and paid someone to bring my food the CORRECT WAY to...
