Read moreMy friend invited me and my daughter to lunch at this Café by the Ohiopyle Falls. I had the Turkey wrap, Chicken & wild rice Soup, Creamed Cucumbers, and the Affogato dessert . My daughter had The Angry Bird Paninni Sandwich, and the Lemonade Lavender drink. The Turkey wrap had an exceptional flavor sensation! You gotta taste this! The Chicken and wild rice Soup was VERY TASTY and filling. No skimpiness on the ingredients. Amazingly satisfying. The creamed cucumbers was flavorful as well. I had to taste my daughter's Pannini , The Angry Bird sandwich. If one likes a slight kick to your palate ,THIS is definitely the way to GO! IT was ALSO extra special with incredible FLAVOR! Her Lemonade Lavender drink had the best flavor combo I have ever had. Now, the best for last. The dessert, AFFOGATO, which I pronounced , "I Forgot You ", is FAR from FORGETTING! Coffee drinkers will CERTAINLY NEVER forget this, MORE than delicious ending to ANY meal. With a slight coffee flavor, a smooth taste, not TOO sweet, will be a "Love Pat" to ANY tummy around! Over all, the FRESHNESS, WONDERFUL home cooked FLAVOR, will more than likely want anyone to come back for MORE! The portions were substantial. I Want to add, the cozy atmosphere was a delight! We were outside under the Pergola. There were gorgeous flowers to behold in spots here and there which lent for a complete rounding off of a Peaceful, calm, ENVIROMENT and climate. I Will be telling my friends about this place. Thank You so much for lending us such a wonderful...

However, it's quite pricey for a little cafe in a tiny town, and the food quality and service aren't worth it. We waited nearly 15 minutes to be waited in at the counter, while the person behind it putzed around, with what, I couldn't tell. I got a soup and salad while my partner got a sandwich and macaroni and cheese. We paid about twice as much as we would've at Panera, for the same, or slightly worse quality food and ill-conceived delivery. Let me explain.... The food, while local and organic, is served in disposable cups/bowls/platters that are flimsy and impractical. Even though my salad was small for the price I paid, the paper bowl wasn't sturdy enough for the content, and the dressing was very runny. It was also lined with paper that got soggy and tore, so I had to keep picking around it to avoid eating it with my salad. My partner's macaroni and cheese came in a soup cup that had a lid, but it was so overcooked and bland, it really wasn't worth taking home. His rueben came on a wooden slab, which is hip and cool, sure, but it was too small for the size of the sandwich, and didn't contain the messy sauerkraut and pickle juice, which ran everywhere. There aren't many options in Farmington, and we were definitely surprised...
