Monica's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Wheeling Township

PALWAUKEE PLAZA AND COMMUNITY; Please read the following: I’d like to start off by saying, I love the food here and I am a usual costumer. However, I had an unfortunate and disappointing experience in terms of service from the restaurant. First of all, I ordered 4 fish tacos and turns out I could not order 4 because the filet only serves 3 tacos. Considering this is a restaurant, that’s absolutely absurd. Then, I asked to not have onion on my tacos, yet I get my tacos with onion. I politely asked to have them removed and they refused. I was very shocked by the service. I was a very polite customer and did not complain. In addition, my food as well as the other person I was dining with, their food was cold. It seems that the service at Monica’s to their customers is not a priority. Estoy muy decepcionado. Thank you for reading this....

I did not have a good experience at Monica’s. I made an order earlier today, and when I came home, I saw it was completely different than what I had actually ordered. This new food had lots of meat in it, and I threw it away as my family can’t eat this. I understand that the restaurant was busy and they made a mistake. However, when I called, they refused to give me a refund. They said they will only do so if we go back to the restaurant (after making it home) and return the burritos (ones we had already touched, and by this point, threw out). I took a picture and offered to show it to them for a refund, but they refused. I just feel really disappointed and upset that I spent money on this and couldn’t...

The main reason I stopped here was bc I looked online and the prices that it said was $1.75 for tacos well once I got their and order they actually was $3.75 a taco I asked the lady and she said o we don't update are site since we started ... I got 2 chicken tacos and 2 chorizo with potatoes tacos.. well the chorizo tacos had no flavor and it had more potatoes then meat to be honest I don't know how you make flavorless chorizo nv new that was a thing... The chicken tacos had alot of meat good flavor on the chicken but then they put way to much cilantro on their tacos you open the bag and you smell more cilantro then the actual food you ordered.. I will definitely not eat...
