I visited here yesterday, the staff was not friendly. I thought she would smile back if I smiled, but I didn't see a smile until I left. Also, the condition of the food was terrible. The lettuce was not fresh, and the peppers had been left at room temperature for too long, so their color had changed. I asked for some spinach, but she gave me some that were almost rotten. When I asked them to remove the ones that had changed color, she insisted, "They are fresh!" However, she removed them when I asked again. To make matters worse, I noticed a few small flies around. I considered canceling my order, but since she was almost done making it, I decided to just avoid the food the flies had landed on. Why would anybody buy sandwiches at Subway is beyond me since you can easily prepare much better ones at home, at a fraction of the cost. I guess its the laziness of an average American and the convenience as well as persistent marketing and abundance of this chain. They offer a customer satisfaction survey that gives you a free drink or cookie after you complete it. No, thank you so much for the offer. Yet I decided to take the survey to complain about this terrible sandwich with the usual sticky bun (always the case with their bread even toasted) and at this location: tasteless meat and a marinara sauce that does't even taste like tomatoes. The staff seemed disinterested and rushed, even though the store wasn’t busy. I was barely greeted, and when I asked a simple question about the bread options, I got a short, annoyed response.
They also got my order wrong, and when I politely pointed it out, the employee seemed irritated instead of helpful. There was no apology or attempt to fix the issue properly. It felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a customer.
