Ordered food here the night before Christmas. Got a fair bit of food delivered. They specialize in soul food/Southern-style cooking. I tried the BBQ Beef Ribs bundle (they also have turkey ribs) - which came with a drink (I got a Diet Mountain Dew) as well as 2 sides (I chose the Mac n cheese and cornbread, although it already came with 1 piece of cornbread) and 4 Beef ribs, a salmon croquette, steak and cheese egg roll with some sauce, and a peach cobbler. The main entree (ribs) were quite disappointing. There was very little meat on them. The ribs were quite chewy and mostly fat, which is not something I enjoy. They were also quite thin and coated in a ton of very sweet BBQ sauce. So, not a win. The corn bread, though, was actually quite good. It had a sugary moist topping that was very pleasant. It was a bit dry on the inside and did crumble, but the overall flavor was decent. I do appreciate they give you one piece for free. The Mac n cheese was not good, unfortunately. There was very little cheese. Any of the cheese that was present came in clumps, which made for a strange texture and flavor. It was also very buttery and oily, which I'm not a huge fan of either. I would really recommend staying away from this dish unless you like oily macaroni without much cheese. Portion is large. The egg roll was quite tasty. When ordering online, I couldn't find a way to add a single roll to my order, so I had to write it in the description of another item. Thankfully, the person making the food saw this note! The roll is larger than your average Chinese takeout egg roll, and it's packed with delicious items. They have seafood, chicken, and other varieties, but I chose the steak and cheese. Its crispy and the sauce in there (maybe the steak juices?) was delicious. Would have liked a bit more cheese, but overall great. However, the sauce that was served with it was not that great. You do not get the option to choose your sauce. The one it was served with was very acidic and too spicy for my liking. Maybe someone who enjoys spice would have a different opinion. For dessert, the peach cobbler was flavorful. It was made with real peaches and was not overly sweet. I have not tried many peach cobblers, but I assumed they were supposed to have a crust? This did not have a crust, and it was a bit soupy. The 'dough' parts were soggy. My favorite part of the meal was the salmon croquette. I would honestly recommend just getting the bundle meal with these croquettes, because I was that impressed. Definitely homemade and delicious. The portion was bigger than I expected for $4. A bit spicy, crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside. Nice sauce. All in all, there were some parts of the meal that were a let down. Others, like the salmon croquette or the egg rolls, were great. It's a hit or miss type place. I'm still looking for a Southern place in Pittsburgh that blows me away.

Worst meal I ever had. The wings were the only edible thing. Mac and cheese dry and no cheese, burnt muffin, soupy yams loaded with sugar, salty greens, peach cobbler mush! So disappointed! I believe we got the end of what was left for the day. It was terrible. Threw it all away and ate the wings.

Chicken Soul-bachi was awful. The vegetables looked and tasted like they were leftover from another day and some were burnt. The chicken 🐣 wings were good. Mac and Cheese šŸ§€. I won't get again. First time there. Haven't decided if I'll write them off or give them another chance.

I literally just came home and opened the container. Darn I wish I would have read the reviews before ordering. This is why you don’t listen to men when it comes to food, especially if you can cook and know good restaurants..The lady was very nice and friendly and it’s not even the fact that we spent $48 on 3 riblets 8 wings and 4 sides. I love good food and unfortunately everyone doesn’t have good food like everyone can’t cook, but I guess that’s why we all have different taste buds.. well, I’ll never go back again. I do not like canned greens, I do not like being under the impression we’re getting beef ribs not riblets… (I guess what I’m trying to say is I just don’t like green eggs and ham) the canned greens were so spicy I had to throw them out which was a waste of money and riblets no… who wants riblets… the chicken no, I’d rather have bar chicken or at least some 1/2 off wings from primanti bros… it just sucks having food that you can’t just say F it and eat it and never go back but to not be able to eat it at all especially when you spent money and when it’s overpriced, well that just sucks. I really don’t like leaving bad reviews but when it comes to what’s going in my mouth, in my body well, it’s upsetting and not ok… I should’ve followed my mind and went to la de da where I would’ve gotten 10 wings and fries and slaw, 3 pieces of fish fries and slaw for $30. I’m sorry the meal wasn’t good at all and I am upset at myself for listening to my man… he’s sweet he was hungry and he likes supporting our people so I get it, but we deserve half of our money back, and the reason I say half and not all is because I’m fair and don’t expect anyone to work for free…That’s it...

Ordered from Uber eats all I can say is highly disappointed!! I hate to slam black businesses šŸ˜” first off I received nothing I had ordered pissed. Ordered Cheese steak that was supposed to come with fries and a Pepsi soda!! Instead I received 5 jumbo sized wings that taste like they were cooked in the same grease they use to fry their fish in. The wings not only taste like that but they had no seasoning on them what so ever then my other side that I did not pickwere salty and they were so kind to flavor them heavily with hot sauce!! Don't get me wrong I love how sauce but that should have been my choice to add in if I wanted to. I then ordered Strawberry crunch cake but instead got the nastiest Peach Cobler that taste burnt and was all smashed up in the container it was put in. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. I can say when I called the gentleman had excellent customer service skills he was very kind and polite. I had to laugh my name is not the most common but this day 3 Lacheles ordered lol and that's how my food got mixed up. I live in Homewood my food took 2 hrs to come the kicker is although it was nasty as all get up it was hot like it was freshly cooked. Which leads me to think they were out of what I wanted gave me what they had cooked the wings fresh which explains the wait and substituted the whole damn ordered what a big disappointment!! Never in my life do better will never get my money again. My sides looked the exact same way as the people who co.plained about their food in a precious review no lies told it was horrible. I hated to do this but it was...
