Pizzeria 081 — Restaurant in White Marsh

Had a great first experience with this pizzeria. I live locally and was in the mood for pizza and decided to give it a try…. I ordered the chicken pesto specialty 16” thin crust online and my gosh it blew my mind! The savory flavor and no overwhelming ingredients made this place stand out. I didn’t feel too heavy after eating it meaning they used quality ingredients and it was done on time and the staff was really nice and had it ready when I went to pick up! I even took some over to my parents’ house and they were blown away too! Definitely recommend you give it a try!

Update: I grabbed another cheese pizza from Pizzeria 081 and it blew me away, incredibly fresh, perfectly balanced flavors, and not heavy at all. You can tell they use real, high quality ingredients because it tasted amazing without that greasy or bloated feeling afterward. It came out hot and fresh, with that perfect crisp chewy crust combo that is rare and hard to find nowadays

The owner and staff were polite and gave personal attention to everyone greeting customers by name even though the place was buzzing with people picking up orders. Finally decided to give this place a shot, expanding my "go to" pizza places. I ordered one large cheese pizza for carry out. When I walked in the girls behind the counter were friendly, and the establishment looked clean. When I left I was thanked by two employees, assuming cooks/chefs, for coming to their location.

The pizza itself was great overall, but depending on what you like there could be improvements.

Personally I am a crust snob, and that's the biggest factor of the three (cheese and sauce). The crust was excellent. Cooked well, crunch, ends were soft, and was sturdy. Some of the best crust I've eaten in the Baltimore area.

The other two factors my wife and I disagreed on. Personally I felt the cheese could have a flavor improvement, and my wife thought the sauce could see a flavor improvement. Both were above average and good.

Overall, solid pizza and would definitely order one from this establishment again. I originally was going to give 4 stars, but elected to give 5 because in reality it was a solid pizza. When we order other stuff from this location I'll update the review.

First time stopping at this location . Wasn’t sure what to expect . As I walked in I noticed that the dining area was small but just big enough to accommodate us . They also have a bathroom off to right for customer usage. This is basically a carry out and delivery location for the most part . The food actually smells good as you walk in . Drinks are all bottles and cans located in the front the store . The young lady behind the counter was very polite and waited for our whole party to arrive to take our order . We ordered , a cheese steak , 16 inch pizza , two slices of bbq chicken pizza , chicken parmigiana and some fries . Chicken parmigiana was good the sauce wasn’t too much acid or sugary ( it is made in store daily ) . It came with bread sticks that were soft but sort of plain taste. Pizza was actually freshly made and with all fresh ingredients. If you order a slice you get what’s behind a glass window up front but it’s also a fresh experience . Owner was on site and was a pleasant person and ever informative on the process of making the food from scratch. Parking is plentiful. Over all experience was great . Definitely worth the visit .
