April's Pizzeria — Restaurant in White Sulphur Springs

My wife and I were traveling from Virginia back to Kentucky and were looking for a Pizza Hut in the area -suffice to say this was what kept popping up on the search . Aprils Pizza I wish I could give them 10 stars ! Yes Ten! That was the best detour we could’ve made -to little Sulphur Springs West Virginia. The pizza was very delicious and the breadsticks were served on an antique plate -it really gave me a feeling of home cooked food.That was the best part of our visit because it reminded me of my mom or my granny it was just wholesome.

In a world of Big City Pizza the with same old same old ,same old, out of no where comes the most memorable meal I have had in a very long time. Not 40 bucks either -like big city pizza We left with a bill for around 21$ for large pizza, breadsticks, large sweet teas with a drink to go for my wife and myself. The waitress was also the cook and from what we could tell she might have even been the owner. Super friendly super clean restrooms too ! I can easily see this business lasting for a long time and we will come back every time we are in the area. I encourage all who travel on the West Virginia area off 64 to stop and get a pizza I believe that she said that she had homemade chicken...

Poor customer service with Lisa Long(owner). Kitchen staff is horrible and can not follow customer orders. Food is never consistent with portion sizes. I ordered 2 chefs salads one with no olives or onions and the other no olives onions or mushrooms and the mushrooms are a major thing due to food allergies. Both were made exactly the same with mushrooms and no olives and huge strips of meat. Called and was told to bring them back to be remade, I got the replacement and open the box to see the same long strips of meat not chopped like they should be. Hostess apologized and had them fix it and opened the one box and looked fine, and did not open the other one which is my fault. As I got home and found they had done the exact same salads again with no mushrooms or olives, green peppers and still had onions. Called and spoke to the owner and explained to her the situation and was told “ok, sorry” with zero sympathy. Will never eat there again which is horrible as White Sulphur has zero affordable...

Placed an order for my job today. Rode from Lewisburg to pick up. I asked for a large turkey sandwich and wanted to add some things to it. Provolone cheese being one of them. When I got back to work, my order has no cheese at all. I called to let them know about this, thinking I would be asked if I would like my order made again. Instead I was told that when she took my order, she didn't hear the cheese part. She then states that I wasn't charged for it, and if there was anything else wrong. I said no. She says sorry about that, and hangs up. This has not been an issue in the past. The owners are awesome. I just feel that the customer service was absolutley horrible. Paying for what I ordered is not a problem. I just want it to be correct. If it isn't, it should...
