Not sure if we just hit a bad night but the service was really slow, like 15 minutes for a draft beer. The atmosphere was really good as were the appetizers. The room was so hot we all felt horrible. Most of us ordered the steak which was probably the worst steaks we’ve ever had... they were cooked perfect but came out Unseasoned, grey, and tasted boiled. I hate to leave a review like this but just like to give honest reviews. I’d try it again just because I’m hoping it was an off night based on all the other great reviews, and the restaurant itself is really cool. Plus it’s owned by a couple young ambitious women who opened it during college- super near story! Try it and hopefully you will have a better steak! Or get something else because everyone who didn’t have steak...

This is a very cute place for a fancy dinner. We had a date night there and it was so much fun and so delicious. The ambiance is fancy folk and it is a fairly small restaurant. They have super good food though especially for such a small town. We had the Ahi wontons which are not like traditional wontons, they were more like sushi with a crispy wonton base instead of rice, so so so delicious! For entrees we had steak and a fish special. Both cooked perfectly and had tremendous flavor. For dessert we had the huckleberry cheese cake which had the texture and taste of almost a very creamy ice cream. It was also delicious. We were very impressed and would recommend if your looking for an expensive date night with unique food. They also have MT spirits from some of my favorite...

It’s not often you can go to a small town of about 900 and find a culinary genius at work. My wife and I split a combination of plates, and all were top notch. The Mediterranean kebabs were a nice blend of spice and flavor. Fresh mozzarella and flavorful tomatoes blended for a Caprese salad and the Mahi Mahi was incredible with the pineapple salsa and was my only complaint as it was slightly dry.

However, the star of the night was the baked Brie with a huckleberry sauce. I seriously could have eaten 3 of these myself.

Service was up to par with attentive and friendly waitresses. The decor was a visual masterpiece as well. I can’t wait for the...

My wife and I had an amazing meal here today. Appetizer: baked brie en croute with huckleberry sauce and micro greens Entree: 10oz New York strip with saffron risotto and broccolini. Dessert: creme brĆ»lĆ©e and raspberry cheesecake. The brie was absolutely the best version I’ve had with fantastic pairing for highlighting the desired flavors. The New York strip was perfectly cooked (rare for me and med rare for my wife), had an excellent au jus, and went well with the risotto. We had 4 cocktails in total. Each was delicious and sized appropriately. That definitely added to the bill, as drinks always do.

The Jawbone is one of my favorite Montana locales. Cassie and Amber are incredibly astute and highly detail oriented. Their customer service is outstanding. The food is superb as are the hand crafted cocktails, both involving locally sourced products when possible. I have been frequenting the place for a couple of seasons now and it is always an excellent experience. I highly recommend it.
