Waters Edge — Restaurant in White Township

This was a beautiful location on the pequest River and my brother and my mother and I had a wonderful lunch. I merely had a wonderful hamburger with french fries and some wonderful macaroni salad and my brother had the chicken Parmesan dinner with pasta and it had one of the biggest pieces of chicken with wonderful sauce where you could taste the garlic but it wasn't overpowering. My mother had a chicken parmesan sandwich with french fries and macaroni salad. And being the lightweight of the group ordering a hamburger and french fries I was the only one that finished my meal, but the hamburger had to be a minimum of 10 oz and I thought I'd only finished half of it and bring the other half home for my dog but I let my dog down and ate the whole thing. It was that's good. And the host was a wonderful guy and our waitress whose name I did not catch but goes to college in Arizona was very professional friendly and just a wonderful beautiful person with enough attention to our requests without being overbearing. And sometimes my mother can be a little overbearing with little details about her meal

Wow!!! Let me just say, as an out of towner looking for a good bite in a cozy place, I fell into Waters Edge in late December and have been back at least 3 times since (which is quite frequent for my eating out). The staff and were kind, and the pizza… THE PIZZA was phenomenal! I always order the personal sausage pizza whenever the chef with the long brown hair and beard is working. I come in strictly on weekdays because I know this guy is in. Let’s hit Pauly’s Perfect Pizza checklist… Does the cheese have a beautiful blister from ovens heat? You bet! Does the sauce have a robust taste while not overpowering other ingredients? Amen! Is the sausage (or other toppings) prepared in a way that is visually stimulating, as well being a sensory experience to eat? I have never had better! Finally, we ask ourselves arguably the single most important question we can ask about a pizza. How is the crust? If you said wholesomely thin while maintaining a sturdy and crispy base, then you’d be right my friend. Their consistency game is off the charts! Like c’mon people. Our family met for an early Mother’s Day gathering. The waitress left food menus and came back and asked if we wanted a drink. I asked for a drink menu and she told us they didn’t have any. So I ordered a glass of wine. Later, my daughter said other tables asked for a drink menu and it was provided. I saw people with cocktails and I retesting drinks at every other table. As for food, we got crab fries with fake cheese sauce and a sprinkle of crab meat. The chicken nachos had the same fake cheese sauce and rubbery chicken. My entree was a fig and walnut salad that had a metallic taste. My daughter had a steak salad. The waitress asked how she liked her steak and she answered medium. It was gray shoe leather when it came out; so over done. My husband wanted steak sauce for his burger and they said they didn’t have steak sauce.
