I went to this Wendy’s a couple days ago and didn’t have much money in my bank account due to spending so much on Christmas. I used a gift card to pay for my order and then wanted to charge the rest to my debit card but the individual at the window never charged the gift card, only my debit card. That overdrew my account. When I called the night that it processed and talked to a nice woman over the phone, she told me to speak to the manager, Marvin, in the morning. So the following day, my boyfriend went in to speak to Marvin. Marvin is one of the most disrespectful individuals I have ever experienced in customer service/food service. He got mad that my boyfriend went in during “the lunch rush” when there were only 2 guests (already dining) inside and approximately 3-4 cars in the drive thru. I understand his concern but had I been a customer wanting to order he would have to assist me so he should have been able to assist regardless of the issue at hand. He then proceeded to say we can contact the GM on Monday so my boyfriend left. I teach children and go back to work on Monday so I called and asked to speak to Marvin to find out what time to call so we don’t have another “lunch rush” issue as well as to ensure that the GM would be there at the time I arrived. Marvin got EXTREMELY disrespectful and said, “I already told you. Monday.” And I said, “I realize that but I need to know what time of day.” And he said, “All day.” And then hung up the phone on me. This is NOT the first time I’ve had issues at this location; most of the time when I order a salad, I have to go back through for simple things like dressing and toppings for the salad. They also continue to give out old, cardboard looking nuggets and it’s disgusting. On a positive note, there is a man who typically works the drive thru who is ALWAYS incredibly kind and in a great mood! He always says, “Have a blessed day!” to every guest and he is wonderful. He should be promoted or get a raise and Marvin should find a new job that doesn’t entail speaking to...
Read moreAll the managers are so unprofessional and besides one manager who is way more professional. You have a bunch of children working at this place they can't get nobody's orders right you have one manager that favorites employees and other ones get treated on fairly. There's people in the back spitting loogies while they're making food they're also touching their phones with the gloves that they prepare food with after they touch the phone they don't change them they continue making your food. There's also employees there that do not wash their hands after using the bathroom which is disgusting. An employee that I know there witnessed it twice. This place is far from Great. And I think they're only a participating Wendy's because they definitely do not participate in hygiene and they don't participate in treating employees equal. People are so rude and unprofessional. There's also a female employee there that's a teenager and she bullies other teenage employees and gets by with it. I can't believe how long I have ate at this place and didn't know any of this until I actually know an employee that works there I can't believe the stuff that's going on behind the walls of Wendy's there's also people hitting vapes and THC pens as well all the time. Like I said so on...
Read moreOrdered, amongst other items, a baconator with NO mayo. It seems like I’m not the only one with this issue, someone really likes mayo down there.
Regardless, I received a sandwich that was….i’ll say not a baconator. It had mushrooms, some off white suspect sauce, and even came with a complimentary hair?
I called and they said they would take care of it. Excellent. I go down, I speak into the drive thru mic my situation, and I again, re iterate NO mayo. She says pull up.
The (who I presume to be the manger) asks me what happened. I explain that for one, it wasn’t what I ordered, but two, there was a complimentary hair on my sandwich. She then proceeds to ask me where on the sandwich the hair was (I guess this matters? Or this was a poor effort at customer service), and then she handed me the remade ‘Baconator with NO mayo’.
I get home to discover that they put mayo on this item, after the original receipt says no mayo and I said no mayo on the remake at the store.
Long story short, to coincide with the rest of the reviews, is this the worst Wendy’s in Cincinnati? Perhaps. May even be able to say America. Oh, and they really love overcooked burgers and mayo. Personally for me, not a fan. Probably will never go back. Beware this place, avoid it...
