Ice Cream at the Toano Flower Field — Restaurant in Williamsburg

The owner called at 9 AM the next day and apologized on behalf of their young employees. She was kind, genuine, and thoughtful! She made it right! Again, this place is still my favorite; I was not too hung up about it! I just wanted to point out the one issue so that a lesson could be taught to a younger crowd. I did not expect such a fast response or any response for that matter. The owner is really a role model for all businesses to be like! Thank you for reaching back out to me, and I look forward to continuing to visit your ice cream shop!

Don't get me wrong, this place is amazing. It is one of the best ice cream places in the burg; it's friendly, and the owner is sweet and kind. Her mom makes the most beautiful flower arrangements. I come to get ice cream here once a week normally. The staff is normally really good at their jobs, but I went there tonight, and they had closed 10 minutes early before they were supposed to. I was very disappointed. I had never come that late before, but I live out in Toano and it's the closest ice cream place near me. I really wanted a banana pudding milkshake 🤤; they are my favorite. The guy saw me at the door but ignored me. I tried to call, but no one answered. There was a guy cleaning while a bunch of high schoolers talked and played around inside. I know this place closes at 9 PM, and I came 10 minutes before closing, but when you call, it says they are open till 9 PM. There were two people eating ice cream outside as well, so I was disappointed. Again, I love this place. I love the owners, and I think you still deserve 5 stars! But it's professional to close at the time you said you should close. Maybe have a word with the younger workers about professional courtesy and duty? I don't know, but I will still continue to come to this...

Cute little place. Nothing special hand dipped ice cream. Places to sit inside and outside. $13 for a very large and messy 3 scoop sundae. $7.50 for a very large and messy 2 scoop sundae. They have a few bottled non-alcoholic drinks for $2. Hot and cold coffees under $5. $8 milkshakes 😳. Fresh flowers all over the store. You can pick and purchase your own flowers from the field out back, while playing bean bag toss, ping pong, or playing with the bunnies. You can also buy pre-cut or prearranged bouquets from inside. All in all it's a neat idea. I hope they open this up to live music once a week, they have the perfect setting. I hope...

Just visited this place a few hours ago. Definitely regret not visiting sooner, since we've been living in the area from long time. Great place for a sweet treat and just to relax with the family. There is place to play and to relax. Icecream was wonderful, iced late wasn't good unfortunately. Very watery without any sweetness or the caramel flavor I asked for. It might be one time incident since the boys that worked there didn't seem thrilled to do their job. But I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.
