Unfortunately this is not somewhere we would go back to. Now keep in mind we are not locals, and we had heard this was a decent place and wanted to give it a chance. There were three different birthday parties going on and we got seated right in the middle of them. This is a classic roadhouse that mainly appeals to more of a bar crowd. The waitress was nice but not once, in the two hours we were there, did she offer to refill our drinks (non-alcoholic). We waited just about 10-15 minutes for some basic boneless maple buffalo wings, which were actually pretty tasty. But we waited just under 50 minutes for dinner. We're also pretty sure that someone gave our food away. The food was just okay, my husband ordered the BYO Burger (medium rare) and it came back more on the rare side. I ordered the smash burger and was definitely not impressed, it barely had any sauted onions smashed into it and for some reason it also had raw onions on it. The fries were crunchy and not overly salty, which was nice. The music was a little too loud, and the tablecloth was dirty, as well as one of the plastic plates we got our food on. The center piece had strands of hair of hair in it and there were some other random stuff floating around.

Very good food for the area it is in. Check out prime rib on Fridays and surf & turf Saturdays. Prime rib is a good cut, about an inch thick, and nicely seasoned. Strip steak, same thing. Have had both ordered medium and they cooked them perfectly medium. Will see how they do with medium rare next time.

We went for the buffet, was late to start. At $19 a head the food was bad. The steak was raw, the veggies were undercooked and under seasoned, across the gamut of food there was very little salt used. The mashed potatoes had chunks of raw potatoes still in them and we're missing butter and again seasoning. The salad bar consisted of a decent amount of ingredients for either a Caesar or a house style salad. But when made the way staff just dumped the dressing over the top of it and hand it to you. Not very skilled. This could be a nice fresh aspect to a business if they put a little attention to it. We were never asked if we would like dessert but it's apparent that they do have it because the cheesecakes and the chocolate cake are stored in sight and in the dining room in the same cooler as the raw steak.

We are also charged a four dollar charge as a credit card usage fee. We do not use a credit card, we only use cash and when we brought it up we were told that everyone is charged that. No matter if they use cash or not. I would recommend avoiding this place until they get through they're growing pains as a restaurant.

While at the, buffet there was a line of people waiting to be served. The people working the buffet were not even ready. They were attempting to serve food using teaspoons that you would use in your coffee because I did not have the proper utensils. Though the people waiting on us soon very nice they seemed over their heads and overwhelmed. This is really not a family-friendly environment as they allow people to bring their own alcohol and coolers. While sitting there the band was warming up which was nice. But as the people came in they were in large parties and waiting to consume their alcohol. If you're looking for a family friendly restaurant this is not the place. I will review again in a few months when we've gotten some of their growing pains out of the way. As I stated above my belief is that the staff are quite over their heads when it comes to understanding how a dining room and restaurant are run.

I've heard there adding a outdoor chicken roaster. They should probably worry about making the things that they have better before they start adding to it. The.saying goes... you should never run till you learn to walk and at this point they have yet to learn to learn to crawl.

When your mom gives 5 stars it really does...

The Den in Williamstown is my new favorite snowmobile destination! I went for the first time a few weeks ago and I've been back multiple times since! I was really surprised at how good the food is; I just wasn't expecting that. Their fries are among the best around....hand cut, perfectly crisp and not greasy at all. (A combo that can be tough to find!) The service is great and all the staff are very friendly. The food always comes out quick, perfectly cooked and piping hot! The facility is spacious, fun, well designed and clean. Our kids love bringing friends and playing pool (They also have several arcade games) while we wait for food and enjoy a draft or two from their outstanding tap list! If you haven't checked it out you should, either by snowmobile or automobile! Even when snowmobile season is over this will definitely be one of our...
