We were on an extended trip First and North to Washington I-5 right down the middle coming home down the coast 101. For some reason I had been craving Chinese food and after about the third or fourth town going through I noticed a sad thing a lot of these little towns are drying up a lot of places are closed I don't know if it's seasonal or if it's just because of what our country has gone through in the last few years with covid. So I told my son the next town we'll have Chinese food in it because I'm willing it to happen. And lo and behold the next tiny little time we went through on the way out of it I said oh well maybe I'm wrong and then right in front of me was Anna's Asian Palace and my son says Dad you willed it and what a place it's as far as the Chinese food goes it's one of the better Chinese restaurants I've ever went to so if you are in the area and you see Anna's Asian Palace be sure to stop in and give them some business and give yourself a treat good portions and quality and friendly service it's what to expect that annotation Palace yeah well that's about all I have to say have safe...
Read moreI am rating solely on my experience walking in the door, asking politely to use the restroom, which they refused. To be fair, they probably get a lot of requests from non-customers charging our cars next door, and they have posted a sign that the restroom is for customers only.
I am in the habit of making a purchase from establishments that let me use their restroom, even if it wasn't my primary purpose for walking in. It was already late for lunch, and I was planning to wake the kids up and offer them chinese food, which they love. However, the restaurant staff's automatic, unfriendly refusal left me with no appetite for trying their food, so they lost my business for lunch. We'll find somewhere else for lunch when we finally finish charging.
I did find a store a bit of a walk up the road that had a (busy) restroom, Gieger's Long Valley Market, and just a little farther is a Chevron station...
Read moreAs a middle aged Asian from San Francisco who’s family owned two Asian restaurants for over 20 yrs- I will say with great authority and confidence, that this Chinese restaurant in Laytonville, CA is as authentic and delicious as they come. The family and I agreed that it was better than most of the restaurants we ate in the last time we traveled to Beijing. The service was top notch as well. We will absolutely be making this a regular stop whenever we pass through the area to and from the PNW coast. I’m jealous of the folks who live in Laytonville bc they can eat here more than me lol 😝 *restrooms were extremely clean and obviously ppl, you should order before using it bc I’m sure they have issues w a lot of ppl posing as customers who are just trying to use the restroom. They aren’t...
