The Munchery — Restaurant in Willits

We went there on Easter and there was not very many people there when we had gone. We were heading back from a long drive. The food was great after we finally received it. It unfortunately took over an entire hour to get our food and we had our one year old with us and both my husband and I had just ordered burgers and fries.

My husband walked in after an hour to politely tell the waitress we are leaving and she said, “you guys are leaving aren’t you?” it just so happened she had the food coming out so he said we would stay because he felt bad. We had to eat it in like five minutes and box it up though because our one year old was done, so we didn’t get to enjoy it for the price. It was 45 dollars for two burgers and fries, which was pricey and a bummer to not be able to enjoy. I even tipped because it was not the waitress’s fault and she was nice, but we are local and unfortunately we won’t ever go back despite the food being good because of the wait and I unfortunately regret not leaving because paying for a nice meal after being on the road for several hours to travel back home and it being late felt like a waste of money.

My boyfriend and I ate here for the first time last night (dinner). The food was delicious, and it’s very cute and clean inside. Great menu and they have gluten free bread and buns too. After we sat down, it took 30 min to get our drinks (coffee and soda) and to have our order taken for our food. Then we waited an hour and a half for our food! This place was a nightmarish experience. I had heard about it, so I met with family that traveled far to eat dinner there with my husband, daughter, and I. I was mortified… it was more like a ‘Hooter’s’ than a classy place to share a meal. The bar was full of people laughing loudly and getting really drunk. The waitress put her cleavage in my elderly father’s face when she served us and he was extremely uncomfortable. The place became so packed with people who were yelling.
