Over rated, over priced and extremely underwhelming food! I had the Big Tex which should just be called a big miss! Brisket...super thin, dry and 4 hours over cooked! Smoked chicken, if that's what it was(maybe it was turkey?but for sure it was dry as July road kill)? Same! Smoked sausage was great but only 4 tiny pieces! The rest was just meh. The fries were nothing special. Wife had a chicken sandwich, and Mac N Cheese that was again 4 hours past when it should have been tossed in the trash. Daughter had the Foxy Melt which again was over cooked and boring! Oh and the wife's sandwich had honey mustard featured, but when the daughter asked for a side of honey mustard she was told by Brandon they had none. However the food runner, who was a great kid and needs a raise, said sure I'll get some for you!

Not to keep going but, I will! The family who came and sat next to us got ignored for 40 minutes until I told Brandon they have not been helped, to which he said " I'll be back soon" and proceeded to go back to the table of women who he had visited at least 10 times in that time, and was 10 feet from the other family!

My wife had a beer though and that was good, so there is that. 😳

No where near the 4.8 stars they have, and should be 1.8 unless the food is a 2 at 10 and a 10 at 2am! If you know you know!

Just go to Applebee's where even if the staff suck, the food and beer are reliably ok, and the deals keep it a good value!

This place is attempting to be a craft beer place with great food, and they swung and missed! Cut the food prices by 50% and train your staff to care and not whine! Then at least I wouldn't care that you have no...

Had a great time with friends at the Foxhole. Just to out this out front I am not a beer drinker. Never enjoyed the flavor and haven't found one that I like. My wife and I joined some friends here to try it out for the first time. She sampled a few flavors of beer and settled on a peanut butter stout. She said it was good cold but as it warmed it wasn't as good. I just had a root beer.

For food we had a sampler of chips and salsa, the chips were good the salsa was a little lacking. Just not as much flavor as I have had at other restaurants whether a bar and grill or Mexican restaurant. The serving sizes were very large and as such my wife split the cheese patty opened face sandwich with a friend along with sweet potato fries. There were onions on the burger as well. I had the big tex which was a very full plate. I only made it through half of the sandwich and half the sweet potato fries. The onion tangles were good, the breaded jalapeños were OK, the brisket was dry and over cooked as was the turkey and the sausage the same. At a cost of $18 it was just barely worth it due to the size. I took home the left overs for another day. If you get the sweet potato's make sure to get the sauce added at $0.75. For dessert I ordered the dessert of the Day, a whiskey soaked bread pudding. It was swerved as a big portion with a big scoop of vanilla topped with walnuts. I found it quite delicious and would definitely recommend it. The bread pudding was sweet but was offset by the whiskey and was...

Pretzel bites and cheese dip is delicious 😋

update we walked in a few min before the kitchen closed. Google said it closes at 9. After I ordered my bottle of Wrath (only sold by bottle) and explained where it was at, and pointed to it on the menu, the waitress was then able to find it. She had to get help to open the bottle, then got my husband's beer and disappeared. After we flagged her down and asked for a menu we were informed the kitchen is closed and the fryers are off.

Ok, sounds good. 5 min later she then brought fries out to the people sitting next to us... we go here every time we are home and are very disappointed. I am ok with explaining where the wine i get is at, and I have also helped explain how to open it. It's a brewery, so that is understandable.

But if we were told the kitchen was going to close soon we would have order the food (get the same thing everytime and could've ordered prior to even sitting). We asked if we could at least get fries just to have something to snack on with our drinks and we're told no. The other waitress and the cook were "affectionate" almost immediately after. We went on Aug 3 2025 walked in...

Coming from Bend OR we didnt expect too much here in MN. Quiet town, no one on the street. Walked into Foxhole and it was a party! Everyone in town must hang out here. Great beer selection, the Cardinal Red 2x IPA was very good, it had a nice balance between hops and bitterness. The Jalapeno Double Cream Ale was also delicious. Just the right balance of spice. Free fresh hot popcorn, and cheese curds are your dining choices. The Galaxy IPA was good. A classic IPA. The Hazelnut Oatmeal Stout on Nitro was one of the best we've ever had. The Perkins Peanut Butter Porter tasted like you were drinking Smores...yummmm! The Passion Milkshake IPA was good, not great, as was the Strawberry Rhubarb Dreamsicle. Maybe I just wasnt in a fruity mood. Highly recommended.

This quaint little space is tucked beside a bunch of businesses in the downtown Wilmar district. You can expect a great variety of brews; service, strange conversations and lively individuals strolling through just to soak in the scenery. The cellar (the brewing operations) is in the same room as the taphouse. This can provide excellent viewing pleasure for a curious mind. If you fancy a pair of new socks, they got you covered! Merchandise is a plenty and reasonably priced. A recommendation? Try their " Mango 4th st. Wheat". This delightful wheat ale hits every taste bud with a little 'umf'. Shall you dare to be adventurous? Swing by and enjoy yourself, you deserve the break.

My husband and I went in for a Friday lunch. Handful of other tables at the time. Promptly greeted by our server Kishaun. I was pleasantly surprised that they also serve wine & liquor. Drinks delivered quickly. Kishaun answered a few questions about the menu. Very nice and attentive server. I had a grilled cheese with fries. Also a side of chili. All items were warm and delicious. My husband ordered a sausage platter which he absolutely loved. The space is open with beautiful views. I would imagine it could get quite loud when it's full! Great place, we will be back!
