The Club Lounge At Lost Nation Sports Park - Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Willoughby

If you’re thinking about having any event here in their party center, don’t. A complete disaster from the beginning. The floors in the party room still had to be mopped, the carpets needed to be vacuumed because there was stuff all over the floors and the bathrooms were disgusting. The whole area was not clean or even ready to be used for our event. The floors were mopped a 1/2 before our guests arrived & not enough tables were out for the amount of guests we were having. The entire banquet room was gross. Tape of the walls & stuff all over the floors. The food was suppose to come out at 1:45 and didn’t come out until 20 minutes later and they had one kid set up everything. Nothing was prepared until then, all of the food containers needed to be set up and all the plates and silverware still needed to come out while the food was just sitting there. We had plastic silverware for Chicken Parm & Roast Beef! The set up was beyond unprofessional as well. When we ran out of chicken, we had to go down to the kitchen twice to see when more was coming. Our guests sat around waiting awkwardly until it came & half the food was cold. The people were rude and didn’t seem to care that they were the ones who totally messed up. It was a disaster and a half. Usually I am one to give the benefit of the doubt but when it’s your day that is ruined and numerous things go wrong that’s when I will speak up to prevent others from going through it. Unfortunately, there is not a way to indicate a rating below 1 star for this establishment. The Lost Nation Sports Park is lovely, however, the Players Club Bar and Grille was one of the worst experiences we've had dining out in quite a while. We arrived to the outside bar and after no greeting, went inside to seek out a waitress/waiter to take our order. Three waitresses were manning the bar inside and NONE looked up until spoken to. We waited over an hour for our food (luckily good company kept us distracted), before I went back inside to investigate. AGAIN, not one of the waitresses looked up from the small tasks (or lack of tasks) they were doing. One waitress walked by me to pour a beer and then DRANK IT HERSELF. I was finally told the food would be out in "one minute." Only 1/3 of our food arrived in that one minute - the rest never came. Each time we asked about it, the staff seemed confused - I mean, who can blame them, it's not THEIR job to get our food out on time...oh wait...

We left hungry and felt as if we had wasted time when this was meant to be a quick and enjoyable lunch break with friends. A few days later, we noticed that there was a discrepancy in our bill and credit card charge. Needless to say, it was not in our favor. Thanks for ruining my precious Sunday afternoon,...

My son and I ate here after his baseball practice at the facility. Chose cheeseburgers, fries and pretzel sticks. Cheeseburgers and pretzels were on the "Happy Hour" menu. 8oz. burger for 5.00 and 4 large pretzel sticks were 5.00. Fries were 4.00. Everything was very good, People around us had ordered pizza and that looked tasty as well. Waitresses were friendly and efficient and helpful with questions. If I had to find a bad point, I guess it would be that every topping added to the burger was a dollar. So.... cheese, pickle and tomato turned a five dollar burger into 8.00.
