La Casita Mexican Cuisine – Willows — Restaurant in Willows

Updated 12/27/2024 I was a little disappointed but understand folks may have been on vacation due to holiday. Food was good but could have been a little warmer, it was a little cold inside as well. Looked like they were short staffed but it wasn't busy when we stopped in for dinner after 6pm which is why we hardly saw our waitress. Other than that my review & stars remain the same.

Invited friends to dinner at this new Restaurant in town. Wow we were not disappointed. The ambiance was very nice, service was excellent our hostess gave us her recommendations as well leaving us to make our own food choices. The menu was different from other places with each of us trying an assortment. Each choice was as delicious as the next. We didn't have room for desert but if we did we would not have been disappointed either. Food came out quickly considering it was a full house, hot and tasty. We weren't rushed out which was nice. We happened to be in Willows around lunchtime and went looking for a place to eat. We found La Casita. We went in and were greeted immediately and offered any table we liked. It wasn't busy at the time (11:15 am). We looked over the menu and made our decisions. We ordered up and after a bit of a wait (due to our selection for lunch) our food arrived. It was of good portion size and well plates. The food had good flavor, not over powering, and was served up at an appropriate temperature. This is honestly the last time ill be ordering there. Asked them for pico de gallo and chips and let me tell you seeing the size of the amount they gave me was a daum joke. When i called them to say why was it so small they claimed i asked for a small but even for a small and 2$ was a daum joke . If you order there ask them the size of things cause u definitely don't want to waste ur money on something thats very small. Thats literally enough for one chip. And they said we usually give 2 of those like what yall give 2 of these small sizes for a big bag of chips...
