This restaurant is currently featured as one of ten places in Iowa that may have the Best Burger. For me, living in Cedar Rapids, it's just about an hours drive. It's located in Wilton. Just off I-80. Right on the edge of town. Can't miss it. It's an enclosed Dairy Queen type ice cream parlor. Spacious parking area. Friendly staff and courteous. They offer a wide variety of food options. My selection was the Cowboy. Quarter pound Angus Burger with all the toppings including an onion ring. And a side of onion rings. And BBQ sauce. Paid just over $12. This thing is HUGE and took me 2 days to eat it! Not kidding. This place offers very generous portions for a very reasonable price. I was tempted in getting a shake or malt but decided on my Pepsi instead. In my opinion this place serves up one of the best tasting burgers you will ever have. Fast friendly service. Iowa nice. Great place for families too. Outdoor seating available. Handicapped parking available too. This place is just too good to drive by. Next time you're in ot near Wilton, Iowa stop in for a very...
Read moreMy husband and I were driving through the area to buy a vehicle. We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem! There are so many options! My husband ordered the Wilton Dump Truck with fries, and I ordered the Erik's Smokey Mountain burger with waffle fries. I also ordered a tornado, and he ordered a Java chocolate chip Frappé. Now the water there was absolutely disgusting. So it did make the drinks taste a little off. But that wasn't something they could fix. They have a tiny parking lot on both sides of the building. So, unfortunately, if you are in an RV or Semi, you will need to find a spot somewhere else and walk there. (Maybe the owner could comment with a recommendation on where to park with a larger vehicle?) They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The facility was very clean. They have 1 outdoor restroom. The staff was young...
Read moreCheeseburger special when they opened at 1pm Friday. $7.48 for cheeseburger, fries, & 24oz soda including tax. Cheeseburger appears to be a smashburger & was excellent imo. Fries are somewhat similar to McDonald's but a little thicker & crispy. I dined in (was already 90⁰ outside) & if I had to complain about anything it would be the flies were pretty annoying. Nothing a few fly paper strips couldn't solve. Nothing to complain about regarding the food. I live in the QCs & been wanting to stop by Arty's ever since I saw it on FB. Was well worth going 4 miles off I80 omw back from Iowa City. HIGHLY recommend 👍👍 Back again on Saturday coming back from Kids Day in Iowa City. Had to try some ice cream. Small strawberry shortcake sundae. YUM!! Only saw 1l fly...
