Bojangles — Restaurant in Winchester

It was Christmas Eve. My mother arrived to pick up a 20pc chicken for Christmas Day as it is a custom in our home to have fried chicken with our Christmas dinner. My grandmother is no longer here to make her famous fried chicken, so Bojangles is what we believed to be the best option. The store didn't close for another hour, and my mother was told that they were not going to fry any more chicken because they were closing soon. There were cars in line behind her also that got turned away. I have worked almost two decades in customer service and food service. I can not stress enough how poor their customer service was. If they were closing in An hour, then in an hour is when they shut off their fryers and proceed to clean. Instead they were rude, and turned folks away before they were intended to close. While we understand it was Christmas eve and you wished to get home as soon as possible, there are other folks relying on your services for that evening and you failed them. Not to mention, if this location was surely closing at 5pm, then that time is most generous enough to get home in comparison to the large retailers who make their employees works 24hours on the holiday. Decided to stop and have dinner after shopping what a waste of time. Arrived about 5:15pm and waited at the counter for almost 10 min and never got waited on. One employee came out to the front and saw my wife and myself standing there 3 different time and never acknowledged that we were there but return back to who knows where. Then another employee came to the front and had a conversation with a person who came after my wife and me. They acted like they knew each other because the employee was heard telling them that grandma had already gotten the Mac and cheese. Again this employee didn't acknowledged us. After that my wife said let go some place else. I under stand it the holidays but to act like they are is just down wrong and tells me that this location just doesn't care. We were on the way home, from West Virginia heading back to Maryland, and we stopped at Bojangles to grab a bite to eat! I have never heard of or seen a bojangles. This place is hands down one of the best fast food places I have ever been to! And it is now my number one choice for foodAnd my family eats out a lot, we rarely eat at home, so we have been to just about every food place near us. The service was amazing, the employees were super helpful, professional, happy, and super nice! The inside was clean, and the bathrooms were clean too! The food was absolutely delicious, it's hard to believe the food is considered fast food! I had a chicken breast, Mac and cheese, french fries, with a coke!
